Roadblocks Disappeared When I Put My Faith in Master and the Fa

(Minghui.org) I have encountered many severe bouts of illness karma. However, once I let go of the thought of death and put everything in the hands of Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, the roadblocks were removed by holding righteous thoughts. My understanding is: as long as one’s faith in Master and the Fa is strong, nothing can stop us from overcoming obstacles. 

Breaking Through Illness Karma

When I was taking my father to the hospital in 2000 I felt faint. My thought at the moment was: should I call for a doctor’s help or for Master? I chose to put my life in Master’s hands. As soon as my righteous thought appeared, Master cleansed my body. A black shadow as large as my body walked away from my body. I was drenched in sweat. I then felt light and refreshed. The lives in my realm were so happy. I can hardly put into words my gratitude for Master’s compassion. I put my palms together to thank Master.

I had heavy bleeding during my menstrual cycle twice. 

The first time was in 2019, as I was lifting a large basin of water, my lower abdomen twitched. Afterwards, I started to bleed. Blood continuously dripped from my lower body. The bleeding lasted for several hours. I was not afraid because I believed in Master and the Fa 100 percent. I put my life in Master’s hands. Even if I died, it would only be my flesh body that would be gone. My true self lives forever. I also thought: this is good; Master is replacing the old blood with new blood. The bleeding stopped after a day.

Two months later, I hemorrhaged again. The bleeding came in three waves, I had to change my pants twice. Blood streamed down my legs. The sight of blood coming from the laundry against the white sink made me dizzy. However, I was not scared at all; I thought: it is good, Master is replacing it with higher energy blood.

Master said:

“So whether it is good things or bad things you run into, so long as you cultivate in Dafa, they are all positive, to be sure.” (Teachings at the 2005 Conference in San Francisco)

I recovered within one day. During the course of this experience, Master purged a tumor from my body. I thank Master!

While eating breakfast in 2022, my right hand felt weak, my tongue was numb, and I began to drool. My legs also lacked their normal strength, and I walked with a funny gait. I was calm and unafraid: This is a good thing, I thought.

Master said:

“...there was a person with very good inborn quality, who was indeed a good prospect. I found him to be very good and increased his tribulations a little bit so that he could quickly repay karma and become enlightened—I was preparing it this way. Yet one day he suddenly seemed to suffer cerebral thrombosis...” (Lecture six, Zhuan Falun)

I was also having symptoms of a stroke, so I must be a person with good inborn quality in Master’s eyes. My faith in Dafa is as strong as a rock and unshakable. With Master’s protection, I overcame this karma within three days.

During those three days, I did not see myself as a sick person. My husband asked me to give my mother-in-law a haircut and to do the cooking for the whole family. The work was quite difficult for me and I thought it was unfair in the beginning. Looking beyond the surface, wasn’t my husband helping me? He was helping me to elevate my xinxing! With this thought, my heart calmed down. As my xinxing improved, my karma was eliminated, and the stroke symptoms disappeared.

I said to my husband: “I thank you from the bottom of my heart; you helped me progress faster in my cultivation.”

“Your symptoms were not illness. Master was getting rid of your karma,” he responded.

Even though my husband is not a practitioner, he has good inborn quality. Master has saved his life before. We are thankful for Master’s great compassion.

Seeing illness karma with a fresh new perspective, I completely got rid of any ordinary thinking with regards to illness karma. The word “illness” is gone from my space field.

Not Acknowledging “Persecution,” and Remaining Steady on the Path of Fa Rectification

Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began its relentless persecution of Falun Gong and Falun Dafa practitioners, I was arrested twice.

At the detention center, I was interrogated and pressured to write a guarantee statement to give up my faith. I refused to write it and did not see the guards as persecutors. They are victims of the lies, too. There was no hatred in me, only compassion. I thought: Nobody can touch me; I have Master’s protection. I am not afraid because I believe in Master and the Fa. So I responded to the guards: “I will not write such a thing. I will use my life to protect Dafa.”

One of them pressed a gun to my temple and said viciously: “Let’s shoot you!”

“I will practice even if you kill me,” I replied with a smile.

His attitude changed 180 degrees, and he said with a chuckle: “Then you can go back and practice.”

Another time, the chairman of a detention center refused to release me until I wrote the guarantee statement. He said that if I didn’t, I would be given a heavy sentence at Masanjia Labor Camp. Masanjia was notorious for its inhuman torture of Falun Dafa practitioners.

I said, “I am not afraid of prison time for insisting on the truth...”

Waving a pen at my husband’s face, the chairman said, “You are not taking her home this time!”

My husband’s sentiment was also useless on me. Finally, the chairman smiled. “You passed the test,” he said. He then turned to the guards and said, “Release her.”

The guard chuckled, “You graduated; go practice at home.”

On the path of cultivation, I let go of death, fear, and sentimentality. I risked my life to protect the dignity of Master, Dafa, and myself. Not one guard harmed me, because Master and Dafa are by my side.

My understanding is there are no such things as “persecution” in cultivation, only tests given by Master. So I have no fear.

I believe in Dafa, and I have Master watching over me!
