Remembering to Be Grateful

(Minghui.org) When the Creator asked the gods to create humans he planted the element “gratitude” into the human brain to facilitate the future Fa-rectification of the universe.

Our benevolent Master has found us many times in history and formed a holy bond with us. He fostered the element of “gratitude” in our bodies so that we know how to be grateful and can maintain our moral standards at a high level.

We are fortunate to practice the Fa of the universe. Master has given us so much. Those Falun Dafa practitioners who have cultivated well and are able to keep up with Master’s Fa-rectification process are enabled by Master to achieve enlightenment in the new universe. I am grateful for the holy bond Master has formed with us throughout history! I am grateful to Master for choosing me to be a Dafa disciple! I am grateful to Master for his selflessly eliminating our karma, and enduring so much for us! Thank you Master for your care and hard work.

Practitioners’ gratitude to Master is manifested in the human world by admiring Master, respecting Master, and putting Master at the forefront of our hearts, listening to and following Master’s words, and truly cultivating ourselves.

However, in the long history of the universe, as the stages of formation, stability, degeneration, and destruction have evolved, human hearts, thoughts, and behaviors have also degenerated, especially due to the erosion caused by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Party culture. The forced indoctrination of modern science and technology has buried the element of “gratitude” in the human bodies of most Chinese people. They do not know how to be grateful, and some have even become indifferent and numb. What’s more, after looking at problems with human notions, if they feel dissatisfied, they complain. There are also such people among Falun Dafa practitioners.

Master said,

“Because in humankind’s large-scale weeding out process, some good people will be left to serve as the progenitors of the future human race; also, during the period when the Fa rectifies the human world, a glory is to be created for Dafa whereby mankind reciprocates Dafa, and it will be a period in which Dafa flourishes in human society. This is a historical inevitability. Mankind will need to give thanks. The fact that Fa-rectification will ultimately be completed here counts as good fortune for mankind.” (“Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World Volume VIII)

Master also said,

“Indeed, I tell you as Dafa disciples that you still really need to save more people, for I had arranged for this to happen: I will have the people of the future repay Dafa—that is, the people who survive—and they are going to create for Dafa an era of the greatest glory, a time of unparalleled magnificence.” (“2012 International Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XII)

I realized that when the Fa rectifies the human world, the fortunate ones who survive are will all be infinitely grateful to Master and Dafa. Falun Dafa will reach a peak of prosperity in the world where everyone is grateful to Master and Dafa, and everyone supports Dafa and admires Falun Dafa practitioners.

However, this will not come out of thin air, but will be achieved by Falun Dafa practitioners during the Fa-rectification period on their cultivation path.

The CCP culture, alien’s modern science and technology, the thoughts and behaviors of people after their morals have been corrupted, the selfishness of protecting oneself, the slacking off in cultivation, the mentality of pushing responsibilities outwards, and the mentality of pursuing comfort, etc, all need to be corrected.

If practitioners truly feel grateful from the bottom of our hearts, we will do as Master asks, cultivate ourselves, eliminate our attachments, save sentient beings, and fulfill our vows. Let’s all be grateful!
