Additional Persecution News from China – July 9, 2022 (5 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yaxin and Ms. Du Zhonghua Arrested
2. [Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Min Ruyi and Ms. Chen Jiazhi Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Bin Arrested
4. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Cai Faliang Harassed
5. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Tian Lieyun Detained

1. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yaxin and Ms. Du Zhonghua Arrested

Ms. Wang Yaxin was arrested at home by officers from the Shuiwuzhuang Police Station in the Kaiping District on July 7, 2022. She was taken to the Chahe Town Police Station in the Fengnan District that afternoon.

Ms. Du Zhonghua was arrested at home by seven officers from the same police station around 3 p.m. on July 7, 2022. Her whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Min Ruyi and Ms. Chen Jiazhi Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison

Ms. Min Ruyi and Ms. Chen Jiazhi were each sentenced to eight months in prison. Further details are unknown.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Bin Arrested

Ms. Xu Bin, around 64, was arrested by officers from the Weixing Road Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong in a hospital on June 23, 2022. She was released that evening and placed under residential surveillance.

Ms. Xu was called to the police station on July 4, 2022. As soon as she arrived she was arrested. She has been admitted to a detention center.

4. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Cai Faliang Harassed

Cai Faliang (gender unknown) from Suqiao Town was harassed for three consecutive days by two officers including Cheng from the Suqiao Town Police Station in mid-to-late June 2022. They did not show their IDs or give their names but ransacked Cai’s home. They confiscated Cai’s copies of Zhuan Falun and Hong Yin VI.

5. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Tian Lieyun Detained

Tian Lieyun (gender unknown) lives in Qipanshi Village, Yedian Town, Mengyin County. Tian was taken to the county brainwashing center on June 23, 2022. After going on a hunger strike for two days, Tian was released.
