Blessings from Cultivating Falun Dafa and Clarifying the Truth

(Minghui.org) I am 74 years old. I started cultivating Falun Dafa prior to July 20, 1999, so I was cultivating before the persecution of Falun Dafa started. We had an illness-bound elderly couple in our village who had been unable to take care of themselves. Their daughter learned about Falun Dafa and heard that people’s illnesses had been miraculously cured after practicing Dafa, so she took her elderly parents to a Fa study group. The elderly couple attended the Fa study group during the daytime and stayed at their daughter’s house in the evenings. Within a couple of days, the couple was able to walk home and their illnesses were cured. They were very happy and told everyone that Falun Dafa had cured their illnesses.

The news stirred everyone in nearby villages and many of them started to cultivate Falun Dafa, including myself. I had poor health and many illnesses. I saw that the words in Master’s lectures were beaming with light when I first held the books in my hands. I knew the books were extraordinary and started to avidly read them. Though I did not recognize all of the Chinese characters in the books, I persisted in reading them, sometimes staying up reading until 12 am.

I had a dream not long after I started to practice the Falun Dafa exercises. In my dream, a pair of chopsticks were used to pull a strand of rotten tendons from the back of my head. I felt very clear-headed when I woke up the next morning. I was no longer muddleheaded and knew that Master Li (Dafa’s founder) had purified my body. I became totally free of illnesses in a short time.

My neighbor started to practice Falun Dafa not long after me. He went for a checkup at a hospital after he started practicing and all of his gallstones had disappeared.

I established a group Fa study site at my house to help more people benefit from Dafa. My house was filled with people studying the Fa and I experienced a very peaceful and calm atmosphere. I felt that all the cells in my body were smiling, even while I was sleeping. I felt that I was the most fortunate person.

Walking the Path to Awaken Sentient Beings

Dark clouds covered the skies on July 20, 1999, when Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), began a nationwide persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Many Falun Dafa practitioners went to appeal and call for justice for Falun Dafa at Tiananmen Square. I wanted to go to Beijing too, but I had to care for my child. I felt deep regret for not being able to go!

I decided to turn my regret into motivation for clarifying the truth. The streets around my neighborhood became the main area for my truth-clarification.

I was clarifying the truth to a young boy one day, and I asked him, “Where do you go to school?” He smiled and replied, “Grandma, I know you. You clarified the truth to me when I was in fourth grade. I quit back then.” He called his friends over and they all happily quit the Young Pioneers, one of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) youth organizations.

I encountered the same young boy a couple of years later. He was very happy to see me and told his friends, “This grandmother tells us the truth about Falun Dafa. You should all listen to stay safe and healthy!” I clarified the truth to his friends and told them why they should withdraw from the CCP’s youth organizations. All six of his friends quit the Youth League and the Young Pioneers organizations using their real names. The children bowed to me and some said, “Thank you.”

Just then, another child passed by me, and before I could say anything, he said, “Grandmother, you also helped me quit. I used to be very scared of my dad because he always hit me. I thought if I recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” my dad might not hit me anymore. I didn’t dare to recite the nine special words in front of him, so I recited them while I was at my neighbor’s house and asked for Master’s help. My dad hasn’t hit me since. Grandmother, all of what you said was true. The nine special words really work!” The boy said gratefully, “Thank you, grandmother!”

After walking away from the group of children, I turned my head and saw that they were sending me off. They called out together, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” It was a touching moment for me and the scene attracted many onlookers. I was truly touched and grateful to Master for arranging for me to save these children.

After learning that the pandemic had worsened in Wuhan, I became worried. There were still many people yet to be saved! I felt very anxious and asked myself how I could save people if there aren’t many on the streets.

After sharing cultivation experiences with another practitioner, we decided to distribute truth-clarification booklets or post informational stickers to each household. I distributed the truth-clarification materials to eight apartment buildings one night. I sent forth righteous thoughts toward each household hoping that they would be saved. Despite walking six flights of stairs in each of the eight buildings, I did not feel tired. I felt very comfortable when I arrived home and the pain in my legs had disappeared.

I knew this was something extraordinary and that Master had helped me.

When the pandemic eased up a little bit, I headed out to clarify the truth again. A practitioner and I passed by a hair salon and saw a group of high school students lining up to have their haircut. I thought, “Aren’t they waiting in line to listen to the truth about Falun Dafa? This is my opportunity to clarify the truth!” We told them about the beauty and wonders of Falun Dafa, the evil CCP regime, and that reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” will save lives. I also told them about the boulder that was discovered in Guizhou Province with six Chinese characters that read “The Chinese Communist Party will perish.”

All eight high school students withdrew from the CCP’s youth organizations after listening to the truth. Some used their real names, while others used pseudonyms to quit. It seemed as if everything was predestined.

I have encountered some danger while clarifying the truth, but I was always fine because Master was protecting me. I was clarifying the truth to a high school student one day when he shouted, “Why are you still talking? Just you wait here, I will call my father. My father is a policeman and he will arrest you!” My heart was not moved. I said, “Your father will not arrest me because I am helping you stay safe.” The boy became quiet after I said those words.

Blessed After Learning The Truth About Falun Dafa

My son-in-law has received many blessings after he understood the truth about Falun Dafa. Master saved him three times on different occasions. He was driving next to a large trailer truck one day when his car suddenly stopped and turned off. The large trailer truck continued driving about seven meters (23 feet) and then suddenly flipped over into the lane where my son-in-law had been. It is too frightening to think what could have happened if my son-in-law’s car had not stopped and turned off! My son-in-law’s car then turned back on miraculously. He knew that Master had protected him. He was filled with gratitude to Master.

The second time was when a factory manager and an assistant manager asked if my son-in-law wanted to visit their factory. My son-in-law politely refused, so they asked two other men to go. On their way back from the visit, their car was in an accident. The factory manager and the assistant manager died on the scene and the two other men were severely injured.

The third time was when my son-in-law met up with a friend from his hometown. His friend asked my son-in-law if his workplace needed help. My son-in-law thought it over and told his friend to wait a couple of days. A couple of days later, his friend passed away suddenly. If his friend had passed away at his workplace, my son-in-law would have been liable for the damages!

My son-in-law believes in Dafa steadfastly after experiencing these three life and death situations. He carries a Dafa amulet with him and often recites the nine special words.

My daughter was diagnosed with uterine fibroids when she visited a provincial hospital 10 years ago. She then went to a city hospital where they gave her the same diagnosis. Still, in doubt, my daughter went for a third opinion and they told her to wait for the test results. I told her to continuously recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” when she got home. My daughter had been supportive of Dafa, so she started to recite the nine special words sincerely. When she received the results seven days later, her uterine fibroids had disappeared. In addition, a cervical cyst she had been diagnosed with had also disappeared. Our family thanked Master for his compassionate salvation.

My grandson is in sixth grade this year. I took care of him when he was young and he always bows to Master’s picture. He often recites “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and ranks at the top of his class. He said if he does not know how to answer a question on a test he will recite the nine special words. Though we don’t live together anymore, he still bows to Master’s portrait when he comes to visit me. Dafa is deep within his heart.

People always tell me that I have not aged for many years. Though I am 74 years old, my complexion is fair and I have rosy cheeks. I had a hysterectomy when I was 50 years old, but when I was in my 60s, I menstruated for three days.

Many miracles have occurred over the years since I have been a Dafa practitioner. I have witnessed the magnificence of Dafa and Master. No words can describe my gratitude to Master.
