Words from the Heart of a Retired CCP Worker

(Minghui.org) More than 20 years ago, I worked in the neighborhood committee as a security guard. I’ve retired and I’m in my 70s now.

Neighborhood committees are street level branches of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I was not used to the hypocritical, vicious, and combative style I experienced there. I coped by finding excuses to put the work off.

Especially after 1999, when the CCP began persecuting Falun Dafa, we in the neighborhood committees were assigned to monitor local practitioners and report every week everything they did or said.

From the practitioners I knew, I could see that they are good and upright people. They are considerate of others and could bear hardships. There were more than a dozen such people in my area. When I was in office, I never harassed them, let alone monitor or track them. In my reports, I wrote how good and cooperative they were. I dealt with the job like this for many years and the persecution in our area was not so severe.

There were a few times when I was asked to participate in brainwashing sessions against the practitioners and I still tried my best to protect them.

In my job, I often had contacts with 610 Office personnel and got to know some of them. Once, I told the 610 Office director that I was impressed with how decent these Falun Dafa practitioners were and that they had no bad behavior. He agreed with me. I think the 610 Office agents all understood what Falun Dafa is about and how it is teaching people to be good, even if their job was to persecute these good people.

When the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published in 2004, the CCP immediately banned it. There was an order that whenever a copy of the book was found in a community, all the members of the neighborhood committee would be implicated. I think this really showed their fear of the book.

I wondered what kind of book this was and why the CCP was scared to such an extent? When I came across the book one day, I took a serious read of it. It was a book that exposed all the CCP’s lies. It awakens Chinese citizens to shake off their fear and to learn the true nature of the CCP. It also helps people to see the numerous crimes the CCP has committed against the Chinese nation! I was stunned!

The book teaches that the CCP is an evil specter. It has used the most despicable and disgusting means in history to carry out campaigns of suppression. Its dictatorial tyranny has killed countless Chinese people. It has destroyed traditional culture and morality. Everything it propagates is false and evil. It brainwashes the Chinese people at all times and puts the Chinese nation in doom and gloom.

In order to learn more about the truth, I often talked to Falun Dafa practitioners. I took a good look at the materials they gave me. I also listened to uncensored news and current affairs, especially via Minghui Radio and Sound of Hope. I think the podcasts have made my mind brighter and my heart broader. I felt more carefree. I could handle family conflicts more calmly and peacefully. My life became more harmonious. I understood what Falun Dafa is and what Falun Dafa practitioners are doing.

After I retired, I kept in touch with Falun Dafa practitioners and learned more. Their character, their words, and their deeds deeply influenced me. In the past, I helped them to return their kindness. Now I understand that I have a deep predestined relationship with Falun Dafa. My life longed for divinity and I was guided and inspired by the divine.

After we quit the CCP and its related organizations, our family was blessed. My wife and I used to have all sorts of illnesses, but now our health improved greatly. We had a serious motor vehicle accident but nobody was injured. We were cheated out of thousands of yuan but smoothly got it back. We were protected and blessed by Dafa.

Having personally benefitted from learning the truth, we often tell our friends and relatives the Falun Dafa truth, the evil nature of the CCP and why one needs to quit the Party.

After my family and I witnessed the wonder of Falun Dafa, my wife and I have decided to practice Falun Dafa ourselves! This is a new starting point for our life, a new milestone in our life.
