(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] The Case Against Ms. Jiang Guangxue Submitted to the Procuratorate
2. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Luo Meiling Under Surveillance
3. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Ms. Jing Po and Ms. Jiao Yaqin Harassed or Arrested
4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Meixia Arrested
5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Jianchun Placed Under Residential Surveillance
6. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Bao Hongmei Constantly Harassed

1. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] The Case Against Ms. Jiang Guangxue Submitted to the Procuratorate

Ms. Jiang Guangxue from Yaohai District was seen distributing truth-clarifying materials in Sanlijie sub-district via surveillance camera in September 2021. She was arrested but was later released on bail pending trial. Her case was recently submitted to the procuratorate.

2. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Luo Meiling Under Surveillance

Ms. Luo Meiling has been under 24-hour surveillance by officers from the Balihu Distribute Police Department and the Chaisang District Police Department. She is followed by plainclothes officers as soon as she goes out.

3. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Ms. Jing Po and Ms. Jiao Yaqin Harassed or Arrested

Ms. Jing Po was recently harassed at home and was pressured to sign a guarantee statement.

Ms. Jiao Yaqin was recently arrested and was detained in the No.2 Detention Center of Shijiazhuang City.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Meixia Arrested

Ms. Yu Meixia lives in Xijinggan Village, Wutu Town, Changle County. She was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was arrested on February 4, 2022. Ms. Yu was taken to the Changyi Detention Center on February 5, 2022 and has been detained there since.

5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Jianchun Placed Under Residential Surveillance

Ms. Yu Jianchun from Zhifu District was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials and was released on bail pending trial on August 23, 2020.

Ms. Yu was contacted by the procuratorate on February 7, 2022 and informed she would be placed under residential surveillance.

6. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Bao Hongmei Constantly Harassed

Zhang Lei from the Laocheng Police Station went to Ms. Bao Hongmei’s former home in Shihe District to check on her on January 26, 2022. Ms. Bao had moved to another place. The officer tried to find out where she moved to and her phone number but failed.

Ms. Bao was harassed more than ten times from August 2019 to September 2021.

Deputy Luo Mingqiang and a female officer Hu from the Laocheng Police Station went to Ms. Bao’s home in August 2019. Ms. Bao was not there. Luo Mingqiang told Ms. Bao’s family to tell her to call him.

Deputy Luo and officer Hu went to Ms. Bao’s workplace on September 28, 2019. They claimed it was just a visit.

Officer Zhang Lei and officer Hu went to Ms. Bao’s workplace to harass her one morning in September 2019.

The two officers Zhang and Hu went to Ms. Bao’s home on Saturday and Sunday before and after October 1, 2019 to check on her. They photographed her each time they came.

Officers Zhang and Hu went to Ms. Bao’s home one Sunday in late October 2020. They kept asking for her new cell phone number, but Ms. Bao refused to tell them.

An officer from the Laocheng Police Station went to Ms. Bao’s workplace on May 20, 2021. He asked Ms. Bao’s colleague to take a photo of both him and Ms. Bao.

Luo Hualian, director of Zhongshan Community of Laocheng Sub-district, tried to call Ms. Bao on September 27, 2021. On the same day, someone from the Zhongshan Community went to Ms. Bao’s workplace to look for her. Since Ms. Bao was retired, she was not there.
