China Fahui | “Young Lady” of 71 Years Saves People Every Day

Greetings, Master and fellow practitioners!

I am 71 years old. I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1996. During all these years, Master has always guided me in my cultivation, given me hints again and again, and provided opportunities for me to build mighty virtue. No words can express my gratitude! I can only repay Master by cultivating well and saving more sentient beings. 

I do not have a high level of education. However, I wanted to write a cultivation sharing article to share the processes I undertook over the years.

Only by Cultivating Well Can I Save More People

I have been clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to people face-to-face for years, no matter if it rained, snowed, or when the evil intensified its arrest of Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) practitioners. I have continued to save people. Every morning, I do the Falun Dafa exercises. Then, I study the Fa after which I go out in public to clarify the truth in the afternoon. I ride my bicycle as quickly as a young person.

My life is simple. My children are all grown, and I live alone. I cook only simple meals for myself. I spend most of my time doing the three things, except sometimes I visit my brother or accompany my sister to study the Fa.

Over the years, I gained a lot of experience in the process of clarifying the truth. The main thing I realized is that one must correct oneself according to the requirements of the Fa and improve one’s xinxing. Only then can one save more people.

One day in January 2022, I clarified the truth to five middle school students in a supermarket. They agreed to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations. When I left, they took a picture of me and called the police. Not far from the supermarket, I was arrested and taken to the police station. Experiencing Master’s protection, I went home that night.

After I got home, I studied the Fa and looked inward. I wanted to identify why the incident happened. I confirmed that I paid attention to studying the Fa and cultivating myself, and I did not neglect doing the three things. Since the start of last year, the number of people I help quit the CCP every day has been increasing, and I am happy for all those who were saved.

I encountered people who refused to listen to the truth or even badmouthed Dafa. Yet, I remained calm during such times, and Master always protected me and saved me from danger. I often felt that Fa-rectification is approaching, and there is less and less time left for us to save people. Thus, I felt a great urgency, especially when I saw so many people on the streets, in shops, in supermarkets, or in various public places. There are still many people who do not know the truth. They all came here for the Fa. Once Fa-rectification ends, they will lose the rare opportunity to be saved!

Just a few days before I was arrested, a fellow practitioner asked me: “Is it true that you will not return home until you have saved at least 30 people that day? Another practitioner told me you said that.” I never said that. Where did this come from? I thought, maybe it was Master giving me a hint to do it. So I set 30 as my daily goal. Most days, I was able to reach 30, although sometimes I continued until it was completely dark outside. Occasionally, if I did not reach the number, I made up the remainder the next day.

As I looked within, I could not find what I did wrong. So I asked Master for help to point out my problems.

During Fa study, I came to realize that we are human cultivators, not gods. Humans have limited energy and time. So I should not go to the extreme. Master asked us to save more people. Of course, the more people we save, the better. But, all three things are indispensable, and we must do them well in a balanced way. 

One of the reasons I was motivated by the number mentioned by the fellow practitioner was that I had a hidden desire to be competitive, to show off, and to prove myself. I had been reciting the Fa, but during the days I focused on helping 30 people quit the CCP, I spent less and less time studying the Fa. I felt more human attachments surfaced. Pursuing quantity is selfish. I had less compassion and righteous thoughts when clarifying the truth to people. Also, when I got too busy, my mind was no longer calm when studying the Fa. This was one of the main reasons why I was arrested.

Two years ago, a fellow practitioner was going through severe karma elimination and asked me to take care of her. I stayed with her for more than a month, until she recovered. Then one day I asked her to copy an audio file to a USB flash drive for a practitioner who had difficulty reading as a result of the persecution. She did not do it, and eventually I had to ask another practitioner for help. I was unhappy. I thought, “I helped you for more than a month when you had difficulties. During the month, except for going out in the afternoon to clarify the truth, I spent more than 10 hours a day accompanying you to study the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts, and taking care of your daily needs. How come you would not help me with a small thing!” I was very aggrieved.

Looking inward at that time, I realized I held resentment in my heart. My thoughts were based on the notion of human friendship with the fellow practitioner. There must be a reason why the practitioner didn’t copy the file. In any case, I shouldn’t blame her. Instead, I knew I must look within. Both good and bad things that occur in cultivation are good things, as once I recognize them I can improve from them. This was a good thing, and I should thank the fellow practitioner.

I also found I had a combative mentality. Some years ago, when I was released from illegal detention, my daughter-in-law was afraid my case would affect them, so she wanted to keep a distance from me and refused to let me see my grandson. Once she said, “I don’t believe I can’t handle you!” I said back, “You won’t be able to ‘handle’ me! Even the CCP didn’t succeed in doing that!” I was fighting with family members instead of clarifying the truth to them with compassion.

After the recent arrest, I found that my attachment of fear surfaced. I was worried whether I would be able to save more people, and meanwhile keep myself safe. 

Then I remembered that I have Master’s protection, and Master is always with me. Afterward I was no longer afraid when I clarified the truth. Instead, I felt compassion. People who understood the truth often expressed their gratitude to Master. Sometimes their sincere words moved me to tears.

They Came Because they Wanted to Be Saved

One day this May it rained heavily when I was out clarifying the truth. I did not bring an umbrella. When the rain was lighter, I ran toward my bicycle. A young lady ran toward me, holding an umbrella. She said kindly, “Auntie, where are you going? Let me take you home.”

I thanked her, and thought: Wasn’t she sent by Master to learn the truth? I began to talk to her about Dafa. I got completely soaked. The young lady agreed to quit the CCP and thanked me. I told her that we should all thank Master. Watching her leave, I know that Master brought her to me.

On that heavily rainy day, I helped 13 people quit the CCP.

One day in July, I was clarifying the truth in a market. I saw a tall lady dressed very prettily who was smiling at me. I walked over to her. She smiled and said, “You look so pretty!”

I said, “You look really pretty, too!”

“You look better,” she said, touching my clothes.

I immediately started clarifying the truth to her. “It’s our destiny that we met here,” I began. “It’s like what Falun Dafa’s Master said:”

“Predestined ties of countless lifetimesEach has Dafa as its guiding thread ...” (“The Difficult Path to Godhood,” Hong Yin II)

“Good people will remain. Only by quitting the CCP organizations can one keep safe. I wish for you to be safe from the pandemic.”

I then talked about the persecution of Falun Dafa. She immediately agreed to quit the Party. I gave her a USB drive with Falun Dafa information. She accepted it with a smile and kept thanking me. I told her that reciting, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” would bring her blessings.

People Notice Good Appearance, Which Helps Validate Dafa

One day this June, I clarified the truth to two ladies at the riverbank. I said, “It’s our destiny to meet here today. It might have come from a wish we made during a previous lifetime. Let’s fulfill it today. I want to tell you that the only way to keep safe from the pandemic is to withdraw from the CCP organizations. Only by doing so can you have a bright future.” Both ladies agreed. I told them about reciting, “Falun Dafa is good.” They happily accepted it, and told me, “Sister, you look so lovely and pretty!” I told them that I benefited from practicing Dafa.

On another day, I clarified the truth to a young man, and he quit the CCP organizations. I also gave him an amulet with Dafa information on it, a USB flash drive with more information, and a card with a scan code to break through the Internet blockage. He accepted them all. I told him to recite, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” 

A fellow practitioner whom I had not previously met was nearby and saw me talking to the young man. She came over to me after the man left. “You did so well. And you look so pretty!” I told her that my clothing was actually very inexpensive. My shirt only cost 5 yuan and my pants were 50 yuan. “They are inexpensive,” she nodded. “But you look so good wearing them.” I said that everything is given by Master and Dafa. When I mentioned I am 71 years old, she was surprised, “You look so young!”

Once, from a distance, I saw a fellow practitioner chatting with an elderly lady. When I approached them, the lady came up to me and said she wanted to look at me closely. “I am 70. How can you be the same age as I? You look so young!” I told the lady I experienced many miracles from practicing Dafa.

Clarifying the Truth to People Who Were in a Hurry

I often clarified the truth near a long-distance bus station and a train station, where most people were in a hurry to catch a bus or train. Pushing my bicycle, I walked along with the busy travelers and told them the truth about Dafa. Sometimes I encountered tall men and couldn’t keep up with them. Thus, I rode my bicycle with one foot, so I could talk to them. Sometimes I helped people carry their luggage. They usually accepted my truth-clarification.

One day on the way to the train station, I saw a lady with a child and two suitcases who was having a difficult time. I quickly went to help her by pushing one of the suitcases. “Young lady, during the pandemic, I hope you and your family are safe, as well as your relatives and friends.” I spoke to her while we were walking. “The only way to ensure your safety is to erase the pledge you made when you joined the CCP’s organizations, such as the Young Pioneers and the Youth League. Heaven will eliminate the CCP. Following God’s will can ensure one to remain safe when facing a catastrophe.”

She agreed to quit the CCP. “Auntie, you are so kind, thank you so much!”

“All Falun Dafa practitioners are kind,” I told her. “It is Dafa’s Master who told us to do this. You can thank Dafa’s Master.” She kept saying thanks, and added, “I hope destiny will arrange that we meet again!”

Police Officers Quit the CCP

One day in July, I clarified the truth to a man. He agreed to quit the CCP. He gave me his last name but hesitated to say his first name. I suggested that he use a nickname to quit the CCP, and he agreed. I then told him that reciting, “Falun Dafa is good” can bring him protection during catastrophes.

“I am a retired National Security officer,” said the man. “If I was not retired, I would arrest you today. My job was to arrest Falun Gong people.”

I felt compassion for him. “You should not arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. In every occupation, including yours, there are good people. You don’t seem to be one of those who cannot tell the difference between good and evil. You want to be blessed and have peace for the rest of your life, don’t you?” He nodded. His wife commented, “My husband is very stubborn. He usually doesn’t listen to anyone.”

I said, “Just this one good thought today can save him. Gods and Buddhas see people’s hearts and know our every thought. The evil CCP does not let people believe in gods. It did so many bad things and harmed so many innocent Chinese people. Heaven will take care of it.” The retired officer listened quietly. Before departing, I wished them good luck and peace. They thanked me.

On another day I was in a morning market. I advised a woman to withdraw from the CCP and she said, “I work at the public security bureau. I am a CCP member. How can I quit the CCP? Why should I believe you?”

I thought, there is greater urgency for people who work at the public security bureau to be saved. Around that time, a team of people from the provincial public security bureau had come to my city. They monitored practitioners even more closely,  and some practitioners were arrested. Thus, I needed to let her know the truth and to stop participating in the persecution.

I followed her around in the market and kept talking to her. I said, “The pandemic is here to eliminate bad people. Good people will be safe. Withdrawing from the evil CCP can keep one safe. Gods are giving people a choice. I see that you are a kind person, so I’m telling you about this. I hope you will be safe. I hope you will know what’s good and what’s bad. In the future only good people will remain. Those who continue to persecute Falun Gong practitioners will be eliminated. Heaven is fair.”

I then asked, “How about quitting the CCP with a nickname? I sincerely hope you will have a good future.” She agreed: “That’s good. Thank you!”

Not Slowing Down to Save People, Even During Tribulations

Not long ago, my younger brother passed away suddenly. While dealing with the sadness and taking care of related things, I did not forget about saving people. Whenever I had opportunities, I clarified the truth to people I encountered. I helped nine people quit the CCP in the first two days. Three days after the funeral, I went out in public again to clarify the truth.

My sister was in poor health. For many years my younger brother was the main one who took care of her. Now, I needed to rearrange my time so I could help my sister.

During the mid-autumn festival, I brought my sister to my older brother’s home to celebrate the holiday. I adjusted my schedule and went out to clarify the truth in the morning. So I did not skip even one day of saving people.

It’s not easy to take care of my sister. Besides the time it takes, she sometimes makes a big mess in the house. Sometimes she gets angry at me for no reason. At first, I felt very bitter. Later, I came to realize that everything I encounter is for my cultivation. It is meant for me to get rid of certain human attachments. I shall seize every opportunity to improve myself, have more compassion, and save more people.

Using My Basketball Skills to Save More People

When I was young I used to play basketball. On the weekend, there are a lot of boys in the parks playing basketball. Most of them are middle or high school students. So I sometimes stopped by, “Do any of you mind letting the grandma take a few shots?” They were always happy to give me the ball. I would run and throw a few shots. Although I felt sore for several days afterwards, and one time my shoes broke, I felt it was worthwhile because I was able to save people in the process.

One time, I made three successful shots in a row. The boys cheered for me. “I am 71 years old. I really benefit from practicing Falun Dafa.” I then told them the truth about Dafa and the persecution. All the boys agreed to quit the CCP.

As I wrote this sharing, I had tears in my eyes. I am so fortunate to be Master’s disciple. I am so, so blessed! I will cultivate more diligently, do the three things well, and return to my true home with Master.
