(Minghui.org) Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ordered the persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999, I have persisted in talking to people face to face to raise awareness of the brutality of the suppression and the evilness of the CCP.
Despite the many ups and downs, I’m often moved by the positive feedback from people and their efforts to help me relay the information about the persecution to other people they know.
I once tried to approach a group of five people. They were indifferent and refused to accept the informational materials from me. Right then, a woman in her 40s came over.
“Do you practice Falun Gong?” she asked.
“Yes, I do,” I replied.
“I’ve finally found one of you,” she said. “Falun Gong is so great! I like to read your materials a lot! I was very uncomfortable once, and after reciting the phrases, ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good,’ I recovered immediately. Whenever I felt uncomfortable again, I would recite the phrases and it has always been very effective.”
Upon hearing what she said, that group of people took the materials from me and also agreed to quit the CCP.
Another time, a fellow practitioner and I went to a remote village to distribute calendars with information about Dafa. We went to a convenience store to get some drinks. The owner was a woman in her 30s. She told us that someone had clarified the facts to her before and that she still kept the booklet she'd been given.
She said she was always inspired by the stories in the booklet and how the principles of Falun Dafa guided people to overcome difficult situations.
“Whenever I felt down, I would read it and my heart would lighten up again,” she said.
Two of her customers overheard our conversation. They took the calendars from us and also quit the CCP’s youth organizations.
Another time in a village, a woman invited us to her home and asked us to talk to her husband and three guests. We told them how Falun Dafa teaches people to be good and how the CCP persecutes Dafa and spreads propaganda against it.
“When people joined the Communist Party, they all vowed to devote their lives to it. With all the evil things it has done, it will surely be brought to justice one day. You should quit it now and avoid being implicated in the future,” I said.
After understanding the facts, all five of them quit the CCP using their real names.
