(Minghui.org) Although the seasons have changed, world-renowned Niagara Falls continues to attract large numbers of tourists every day. Many people stop by the Falun Dafa booth and are happy to find out about the practice and learn to do the exercises.

Practitioners tell people about Falun Dafa.

Indian Tourist: Peaceful Mind

Gagan from India learned about Falun Dafa when she visited Niagara Falls.

Gagan from India saw practitioners demonstrating the exercises when she visited Niagara Falls with her brother. Impressed by the peaceful movements, she stopped to talk with a practitioner. The practitioner explained that the exercises are “gentle, slow, and fluid” (The Ninth Talk, Zhuan Falun) and showed her the movements.

Gagan started with the fifth exercise (sitting meditation) and did it for a long time. “I feel great,” she said, “The environment here is very noisy. But after I began meditating, I was able to calm down. It was as if there was only the exercise music and nothing else.” After doing the first and second exercises, she said she felt a strong energy and her hands were warm.

Gagan and the practitioner talked about Buddhism, Shakyamuni, and the udumbara flower (a sacred flower that only blooms every 3,000 years). “I did not expect to learn about Falun Dafa in this beautiful place, Niagara Falls,” Gagan said, “I will for sure continue learning online after I return to India. I will also share the information with my friends and relatives.”

Mexican Engineers: Relaxation and Energy

Hazdor Locano, a quality engineer from Mexico, and his coworker Lorala Salcall noticed practitioners demonstrating the exercises. They stopped and began to learn the movements. Hazdor said that he felt tired before he did the exercises, but afterward, he felt solid and energetic. “This is great,” he said, “I will definitely continue doing this after I return to Mexico.”

Salcall agreed. She said the exercises helped her relax and she felt focused. She said she planned to keep doing them.

Iranian Tourist: Falun Dafa Is Special

Akram Ebrahimi from Iran was visiting her son and daughter-in-law in Canada. When the family passed the practitioners’ demonstration of the Falun Dafa exercises, they stopped to learn the exercises.

Akram said she’s interested in improving her health and has tried numerous activities in the past from yoga to swimming. “But Falun Dafa is special and I will practice it at home from now on,” she said.

Professionals from Qatar: A Wonderful Experience

Marwa Ahmed is from Qatar and works in a company’s marketing department. She was happy to encounter Falun Dafa when visiting Niagara Falls with her family. “When I did the exercises, I felt very light. I could clearly feel the energy flowing inside and outside my body,” she said, “It is such a wonderful experience.” She said she would absolutely continue practicing this wonderful practice.

Ahmbe Mohmedkheir from Sudan attends Brock University. He said the Falun Dafa exercises are very different from athletics. “Sports make people nervous and people scream like crazy on the sports field. But the Falun Dafa exercises make one calm and concentrated,” he said, “That is why I will recommend it to my friends.”

Sudan Tourist: Falun Dafa Is Great

Amro Junire is from Sudan and he works in St. Catharines. He learned all five Falun Dafa exercises. When he did the sitting meditation for the first time, he was able to do the full lotus position (with both legs crossed).

He said Falun Dafa is great. Even though this was the first time he heard about it, he likes it very much and plans to continue practicing.

A Sacred Flower

Sonia Dhrmu (dressed in white in the center) from Guyana was thrilled to receive a lotus flower.

Sonia Dhrmu is a production coordinator at North York of Toronto. She was visiting Niagara Falls with friends and family. When a Falun Dafa practitioner gave her a lotus flower, she was thrilled, “I am from Guyana in South America and we pray with lotus flowers. So this flower is sacred to me.”

She said the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are also important, “They are something that we should all follow.”

Being a Good Person

Noah Jane said he likes the lotus flower very much.

Noah Jane works at a sports store near Niagara Falls. When he watched practitioners do the exercises, he noticed they were very gentle, “I believe this would be very good for the relaxation of the brain, so I will try it.”

He also likes the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance very much, “Following them will make us good people.”

Chinese Tourists

A couple from Shanghai came with their two children. Ms. Zheng the wife, said their neighbor in Shanghai practices Falun Dafa and they are curious to know more.

When they talked about how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) deceived people with lies, the husband said he knew the regime defamed Falun Dafa with the staged Self-Immolation Incident. The couple agreed to quit the CCP’s junior organizations, the Youth League and Young Pioneers which they joined many years before. They were also surprised to learn that Falun Dafa is practiced in over 100 countries and is only suppressed in China.

A woman and her son wanted to know more about Falun Dafa and talked with a practitioner. When they were told the practice is well received in over 100 countries, the mother said, “I am so proud of our Chinese civilization.”

The mother said she left China when she was young and her son was born in Canada, so neither of them joined any CCP organizations. They were amazed by Falun Dafa’s ability to improve mind and body and said they would check into the practice.
