At Critical Moments Have Faith in Master

(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began another round of persecution of Falun Gong, trying to force practitioners to give up their beliefs. Under the orders of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, National Security officers carried out the policy of continued persecution. I would like to share my experience of overcoming their threats, harassment, and torture.

Pretending to Care

In the beginning of their “plan” to get me sign a document denouncing my belief in Falun Dafa, the officers pretended to care for my well being, and encouraged me to seek their help if I encountered any difficulties. They “visited” and followed me and also talked to my relatives to gather information.

I was not deceived by their plot and didn’t cooperate with them. Their visits then became more frequent. They also showed their true nature: they became impatient, argumentative, and threatened to beat me.

Threat of Unemployment

When I continued to refuse to sign the document, the officers forced me to stay in the community office for a long time, so I couldn’t go to work. They pressured me by saying that they won’t give up until they accomplish their goal.

“We have a lot of time to spend with you, and you can’t afford to play with us,” they said, adding that, “Only a few practitioners are left to ‘transform’ in this city. You are not the most difficult case. We have dealt with more challenging ones than yours. Those few who refused to ‘transform’ will be sentenced.”

They also threatened me by using my job, saying,”We already know where you work. If you don’t sign the paper, you will be unemployed and your landlord will kick you out.”

Looking Inward and Asking Master for Help

I knew that the old forces were testing me in hopes of ruining my cultivation. I looked inward to find as many shortcomings as possible. Determined to practice Dafa, I felt calm, unshakable, and was ready for whatever was to come.

A young officer pushed my forehead with his finger and said, “We’ve been nice to you so far. Believe it or not, we can get a dozen officers in here to hold you down and force you to sign [the document] in 10 minutes.”

I remained silent and thought, “I haven’t been afraid of death for a long time now. It’s not my fault if they physically force me to sign, so I don’t need to be attached to the outcome. Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) knows my true thought. Still, I shouldn’t let the police commit crimes against Dafa and Dafa practitioners.”

I then asked Master for help to not allow the officers to act out their threat. I was calm and didn’t worry about their threats.

Dissolving the Persecution

A group of people from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the community neighbors, the national security division, the local police station, and other so-called “experts” also visited me. Before they left, they reminded me again that they will use violence to force me to sign the document.

I smiled and replied, “That’s something you can’t do.” My firm belief in Master turned the situation around since they never returned, and no one forced me to sign or fingerprint any document.
