(Minghui.org) The authorities in Boli County, Heilongjiang Province, continue to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. According to information collected by Minghui.org, in the first half of 2021, at least 28 Falun Gong practitioners and their family members were harassed at home or through phone calls.

Below are details of some of those incidents.

1. The chief of Dasizhan Town Police Station, his driver, another officer, and Zhai Yulan of Xiaolian Village went to Mr. Yu Huiqing’s home on the afternoon of June 21, 2021. They told Mr. Yu to go to the police station to answer some questions and promised that it would take only a few minutes.

Mr. Yu went with them. At the station, an officer asked him, “Have you let others use your phone or internet connection?” After Mr. Yu replied no, the officer continued to question him, “Do you promote Falun Gong?” Mr. Yu replied, “My illnesses were gone after I started practicing Falun Gong.” The officer recorded their conversation.

2. The same police chief took a young man and Zhai Yulan to Ms. Ji Yujie’s home in the afternoon on June 21. The police chief said the same thing he said to Mr. Yu, “We want to get some information from you and you need to come with me to the police station.”

Ms. Ji also went with them. An officer asked her, “Do you know how to browse online? Has anyone used your identification card? Do you promote Falun Gong?” Ms. Ji told the officer, “I benefit from the practice. Everyone who knows me knew that I was always sick. Now I am well and it is because of the practice. What happened to me is a miracle.”

The police went to the daughter’s place at 7 p.m. on May 26 and made her promise that Ms. Lu would stop practicing Falun Gong or going out to promote it. The next day at 8:30 p.m. the police wanted the daughter to give them Ms. Lu’s address. In the afternoon on June 23, an officer went to the daughter’s place again to ask for her mother’s address.
