Experiencing the Power of Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

(Minghui.org) The school I work at announced that the provincial education bureau would set up a so-called anti-cult propaganda exhibit at the school, in the form of a booth with hanging display boards and banners. As soon as I saw this message, I wondered whether I should tear it down if there was information that slandered Dafa, and what I should do if there were many people there. Regardless, I could not ignore it and let it ruin sentient beings. I decided to send forth righteous thoughts.

I had a little doubt about how effective it would be for just me to send forth righteous thoughts. I remembered Master’s Fa that Dafa disciples’ righteous thoughts are powerful:

“I’ll tell you, for years I have been continually saying that Dafa disciples’ abilities are tremendous, yet many people don’t believe this since those abilities were not allowed to be seen. Under the effect of righteous thoughts, everything around you, as well as you yourself, will undergo changes. Yet you have never thought to give it a try” (20th Anniversary Fa Teaching, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)

“It wouldn’t matter what kind of mighty force they assembled, the instant you started sending righteous thoughts they would all be turned to ashes, completely destroyed and unable to amount to anything.” (20th Anniversary Fa Teaching, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)

I put aside other things and started sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil completely, to not allow the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) personnel to put up anything that slandered Dafa, and not let anyone passing by see it. We usually need to search for the evil on a large scale, but this time the evil gathered together without my having to search for them.

I passed by the booth at noon, and noticed that it was in a corner, away from the high traffic area. Not many people saw it. I knew my righteous thoughts worked. There was no one there in the afternoon. I thought that the booth might be there for a few more days, so I must continue sending forth righteous thoughts.

A very strong wind suddenly came up in the afternoon, and the sky turned yellow. The sky then became as dark as night, and I had to turn on the lights at home. I had a thought that the strong wind would blow the booth away. The next day I passed by the booth, and it was gone. The booth, which was constructed of stainless steel frames, was rolled into a ball by the strong wind and thrown a few meters, piled up like garbage on the roadside. I immediately realized that my righteous thoughts really worked.

Master said,

“Whatever you experience during your cultivation—whether good or bad—is good, for it comes about only because you are cultivating.” (“To the Chicago Fa Conference,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress Vol. III)

I understood that this happened for a reason, to improve my confidence in sending righteous thoughts. I did not pay enough attention to sending forth righteous thoughts in the past. But I truly experienced the power of righteous thoughts this time, and I had a good opportunity to clean up the evil that gathered in other dimensions.

When I was writing this article, I had an unrighteous thought for a moment, “What if the CCP personnel put up the booth again?” I immediately realized that this thought was interference from the evil. I also knew I was able to eliminate the evil behind those CCP personnel who put up the booth, and I now have stronger righteous thoughts. No matter how many evils come again, I will eliminate all of them as soon as they come.
