Norway: Practitioners Raise Awareness of Falun Dafa During the Pandemic in Oslo

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Oslo, Norway, set up truth-clarification booths every Saturday outside the Parliament and the National Theater and at the train station in Oslo’s center. Their activities have helped many people learn more about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa.

'I Care a Lot for the Chinese People'

Rebecca Wolsdal works in the arts and said she is somewhat familiar with Falun Dafa and the CCP’s persecution.

“Falun Dafa benefits one’s body and health, and the CCP cannot tolerate this,” she said. “It is good that you are spreading the truth about Falun Dafa, and I hope that more people will come to understand the truth. What is happening in China now, could also happen in Western countries. People in Western countries need to be more alert. The spread of the CCP virus (coronavirus) has already got people thinking.”

Rebecca is worried for the people who live under the CCP regime. She understands how difficult it is for people there to express their thoughts. She feels happy for the 300 million Chinese people who’ve quit the CCP. She wants to tell them: “Quitting the CCP will bring hope! I wish you can be who you are and I care a lot for you!”

The Persecution Is an Act of Rebellion Against God

Gunnar, from western Norway, is a recent college graduate who majored in economics. He is currently working for a church association. He listened attentively to a practitioner introducing Falun Dafa and then said: “I believe that practicing Falun Dafa will benefit people’s health.”

The practitioners told Gunnar how the CCP has persecuted Falun Gong for 20 years. Gunnar said: “The CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Dafa is an act of rebellion against God. You are doing something very good. The CCP is abusing its power by sealing off all information.”

“We should not ignore a matter like this. This is very important,” he said.

Magne states that ruling a country with evil will put a nation in peril.

Magne is an elderly man who is well aware of the evil nature of communism, especially after what happened during his father’s lifetime. His father once told him: “No matter what you do, stay away from evil and communism.”

“The CCP is persecuting people who believe in God,” Magne said. “This kind of regime does not let people have wisdom and it is very evil. We cannot let this happen! If a country is ruled with evil, the nation will be in peril,” he said.

Stim passed by the information booth and saw the petition. He asked: “Can I sign the petition?” After signing his name, Stim said: “I am a Christian. I am well aware of all of the CCP's evil deeds. People have no freedom if the communist regime burns down churches. This is why, for 10 years, I’ve refused to buy products made in China.”

“Disintegrating the CCP is the root cause to end all problems,” Stim said.

Signing the Petition Makes My Life More Meaningful

Thao, a Vietnamese immigrant, seemed like a very busy man. He hurried past the booth and then came back to sign the petition.

“I am happy to hear that people are exposing the crimes of the persecution. I was in a hurry but I felt like signing the petition will make my life more meaningful,” he said.

Helen and Shahian are studying to be real estate agents. They signed the petition to help end the CCP's crimes and then waved to onlookers to sign the petition.

“It is intolerable for us to witness a country persecuting its people,” one of them said. “This is the least we can do. The actions of the CCP are barbarous, we need to eliminate the CCP!” They were both glad to help end the persecution.

Nami, an immigrant from Iran, became aware of Falun Dafa two years ago. “Falun Dafa is beneficial to one’s mind and body, especially during the pandemic,” he said.

Nami said that he came across Falun Dafa two years ago outside Parliament and started to learn the exercises. After practicing them, Nami could sleep better at night.

He condemned the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. “The CCP is a tyrant. They cannot and will not prevail. The people in this world will not be deceived by them. I’d never buy products from China,” he said.

Tove came to the information booth with her husband and signed the petition. Tove’s husband said that he had worked in China for 20 years and is well-aware of the CCP’s evil ways. He said that signing the petition is very important. “This issue concerns everyone,” he said.

Three young men from Croatia came over to the information booth and signed the petition. One of them left with some truth-clarification flyers to introduce Falun Dafa to his family. He said he had signed petitions to end the persecution while vacationing in London, Canada, and Australia. He has also watched videos about Falun Dafa on YouTube.

The CCP has been persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners for 22 years. During this time, Falun Dafa practitioners all over the world have persisted in clarifying the truth. Through their efforts, more people have realized that the CCP's persecution of a group of people who believe in the values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance endangers the whole world. People everywhere should stay away from the evil CCP.
