Three Deadly Tests Were Miraculously Passed

(Minghui.org) When I was a child, I admired Monkey King (the main character in Journey to the West) when he said, “I have a Master now!” When I read the story “Eight Deities Cross the Sea,” I always thought it would be great if I were born in that time and could have a Master.

After I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998, I felt so fortunate to have finally found it, and Master Li (the founder of the practice).

Today, I am 72 years old and live in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. I recall my over 20 years of cultivation. Without Master Li, I couldn’t have survived. I passed three deadly tests through my belief in Master and the Fa, and with the help of fellow practitioners.

Curiosity Caused Evil Interference

In 2015, I worked at a construction site that was previously a cemetery. One day in May, out of curiosity, I went to an abandoned building to see its structure. It was built on a hill. Upon returning, I became very sleepy while riding my electric bike.

Suddenly, I saw a huge black pillar in the middle of the road. In order to avoid it, I made a sharp turn and fell to the road with my bike. The light on the bike came off, and I lost consciousness. I don’t know how I returned home; I only recall having the thought, “Master please help me.” Upon arriving home, I didn’t know how to get off my bike. My wife saw me and was astonished, “How did you fall so badly that you're bleeding everywhere?”

My nephew pulled me into a vehicle, as he wanted to take me to the hospital. I said there was no use, that I wouldn’t leave the vehicle, even if we arrived at the hospital.

By studying the Fa and doing the exercises, I survived. My relatives all said, “Dafa is supernatural. We witnessed it.” I was trying to understand why I saw that black pillar and thought it was evil interference caused by my curiosity.

Symptoms of Cerebral Thrombosis Because of an Attachment to Profit

The manager of the construction site called six days later, asking me to return to work. Because of my attachment to profit, I was afraid the manager would hire another person, and I would lose the job. So, I returned to work.

Forty days later, I hit my head on the wall when I was getting out of bed. My wife didn’t allow me to go to work. I told her I would go to a fellow practitioner’s home to study the Fa. My wife wouldn’t allow me to ride my bike. I said I would use my bike as a walking stick. When I was at the end of the village, I went to get on my bike but fell down. My wife was worried about me, so she followed me and brought me home. Upon arriving home, I passed out.

When I woke up, my wife told me, I had lost consciousness for 27 days. I had the symptoms of cerebral thrombosis. When I closed my eyes, I saw an eye staring at me like a wolf. Over 10 practitioners came to send forth righteous thoughts for me every day.

I started doing the exercises by leaning against a wall. My younger brother and other practitioners came to accompany me. While we were studying the Fa, a practitioner would read one sentence, and I repeated it. When my mind was not clear, my brother used a broom to hit my ankle. Other practitioners said, “Don't hit him, you will accumulate karma.” But my brother wanted me to recover as soon as possible. So when my mind was not clear, he hit my feet.

My relatives came to visit me, but I didn’t recognize any of them. I couldn’t take care of myself and had to wear diapers. One relative who came to see me asked me to go to the hospital, but I refused to do so. He said, “If you can recover from this, I will crawl around our village three times continuously.”

During that time, my uncle came to visit and asked whether I can recover from this. One of my fellow practitioners replied, “Yes.” My uncle asked when will I recover. I said, “No matter when it will be, it is because I didn’t do well. Dafa is always good.” I wanted to use my own experience to validate the Fa. With this thought, with the help of fellow practitioners and strengthened by Master, I recovered one month later.

My neighbors said to me, “At that time, you looked like a dead person. You didn’t go to the hospital nor take any medication. It is a miracle that you recovered.” My own experience is a miracle in our village.

Surviving Extreme Pain

At the end of 2015, I felt extreme pain in my stomach, like someone was stretching my intestines. Each day was long and painful.

During that time, one of my brothers came to see me and said to my wife, “Why not prepare ahead since he is so sick.” He meant that my wife should prepare for my funeral.

I thought, “I passed two tests successfully. This time it's to test whether I can pass the test of pain. Yes, surely I can.” I didn’t have a thought of going to a hospital, and I completely let go of my attachment to life and death. By completely believing in Master, I recovered 20 days later.

Through these three deadly tests, I enlightened that Master is great and Dafa is great.

Master said,

“When one such person gains salvation and it results in so many more being saved, who’s to eliminate all the karma involved? How is he to make it past that trial? What must he do for the old forces to have less of a loophole to exploit? What must be done in order to make the sentient beings and many gods at different levels of the cosmos who operate under the old Fa principles and old notions find him acceptable? What will it take for those beings who are being impacted to feel okay about it and to allow you to get through [the trial]? “If your righteous thoughts are strong enough, who would dare to do something? So if you are in the right, Master can resolve anything. But if you don’t act righteously, what can Master do? Tell me, if you yourself haven’t done things right and yet Master clears away those [old force] beings, could that be acceptable? If you haven’t done well and whenever you have tribulations we eliminate those beings for you, then who would we be saving? I strongly believe in what Master said,

“If you cultivate, I will look after you.” (Teachings at the Conference in Switzerland)

I will endure anything that Master arranges for me and completely deny the arrangement by the old forces. I only walk the path that Master arranges.
