Saving People is My Sole Wish

(Minghui.org) Before I started practicing Falun Dafa in 2005, I was introverted. I overcame my shy personality and in 2006 I began talking to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution. My compassion moved many people, who agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I felt the urgency of saving people and encouraged fellow practitioners to clarify the truth to more people.

Once when I took a cab, the driver looked very mean, but I still told him about Falun Dafa. He said, “Don’t talk to me about this. I don’t want to listen.” I said, “Brother, I risk my life when I talk to people about Falun Dafa. However, I will feel responsible if you follow the CCP to meet its doom. I want to tell you why people should stay away from it.” He was moved to tears by what I said and agreed to quit the Party organizations he joined.

Clarifying the Truth at Work

I work at a medium-sized enterprise of more than 1,000 people. Soon after the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published and the true nature of the CCP was exposed, many Chinese people began to withdraw from the Party. I understood my mission was to save people, so I clarified the truth to everyone at all levels that I worked with, including technicians, inspectors, managers, and cleaners. Most of my colleagues quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. When I was transferred to another workshop, I had more opportunities to talk to people. Within a few years, most people in my company quit the CCP.

Once I clarified the truth to a new colleague named Wang. He said, “I won’t quit because almost everyone in my family are Party members.” I talked to him six or seven times, but he still refused to withdraw from the CCP’s Youth League. I didn’t give up on him. One day, I wrote a letter and gave it to him. After reading it, he said, “I finally understand why you advise people to quit the CCP. You are saving people, not participating in politics. Please help me quit the Youth League.” I was surprised and wanted to give him a pseudonym, but he said firmly, “I want to quit using my real name.” When I saw him the next day through my celestial eye, I saw that his body was as pure as white jade. I was so happy that he chose a bright future.

I followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance at work and tried to be a better person. My colleagues all liked and respected me. They always helped me when I clarified the truth to people who had difficulty understanding. With their help, a few people who had deep-seated reservations agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. One day a quality inspector asked me, “Are you a Falun Dafa practitioner?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “I am a Party member. I now know that the CCP is bad. Please help me withdraw from it.” He was the first person who voluntarily came to me to quit the CCP.

When I work with people from other plants, I try my best to help them. When they forgot their gloves, I gave them mine. I got along with everyone very well. After a worker learned the truth, he brought more than 40 people to me to learn the facts about Falun Dafa. Most of them quit the CCP.

I often read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the Epoch Times to recharge myself. During breaks at work I always join my colleagues and chat with them. I told them the history of the CCP’s persecution of Chinese people. Because the Party covered up its origins and China’s history, most people did not know that the CCP usurped power by murdering millions of Chinese. They enjoyed listening to it. They would say, “Come here Brother Hua, and tell us something.”

Talking to Taxi Drivers

After most of my colleagues learned the truth, I started to clarify the facts to other people. I took cabs when I could and talked to the drivers. The advantage of this was that I didn’t need to spend time looking for people. In addition, I had more privacy and less interference in the taxi so I had enough time to clarify the truth to the drivers thoroughly. More than 90 percent of drivers I talked to agreed to quit the CCP. Some drivers even shed tears. Some did not want my fare when they knew I took the taxi just to tell them the truth.

Once, when I opened up the topic, a driver said to me angrily, “The Party pays your salary. Why are you saying things against it?” I said, “Where does the Party get this money? We’re the ones who feed it! Other countries only have one set of government officials, but we have two sets of officials in all organizations: the Party and the operating government.”

I said, “The CCP has ruined society’s morals and created an environment in China in which everyone hurts everyone else. Everything that people put into their mouths may be poisonous when producers use cheap or fake materials to cut costs, from milk to medicine, and even vaccines for children. What has the CCP done for us Chinese? They persecute Falun Dafa practitioners who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and staged a fake self-immolation in Tiananmen Square. The CCP has done all kinds of bad things. Many people feel the Party is about to collapse. Falun Dafa practitioners are risking our lives to advise people to stay away from it to keep safe.” He finally understood the truth and thanked me.

Giving Out Calendars with Information about Falun Dafa

Minghui.org publishes yearly calendars that are filled with beautiful photos and inspiring true stories. If people accept our calendars, their families can also learn the truth. I feel it’s a great way to save people, so I started to distribute them.

I always gave out calendars face to face. After giving out hundreds of calendars to my colleagues, I thought, “I shouldn’t keep giving them to the same people, as other people also need to learn the truth.” So I started to distribute calendars in public areas such as parks, supermarkets, bus stops, shopping malls, and so on. I generally give them out to a crowd because other people will see them and ask for them if one person accepts it. Recently, more and more people accept our calendars. I passed out 1,000 copies the first year and gave out more than 4,000 copies this year.

One day, when I was handing out calendars in a park, an elderly man came over and said, “You finally came.” It turned out he lived in another community and received our calendar before. He liked it very much, so he walked around the parks in the nearby neighborhoods, looking for practitioners and hoping to get a new calendar. He had been looking for many days. I felt the urgency of saving people when I saw how happy the old man was when he saw me. We cannot let down the sentient beings who are waiting for us.

I cherish all Dafa materials, so I always tell people the calendar has information about Falun Dafa before I giving it to them. One time, a lady asked me for two more copies after I gave her one. I asked her, “Why do you need so many?” She then told me, “One is for my family. Another is for my son, and the third one is for my daughter, since we don’t live together.”

Once in a mall, a person refused the calendar. I told him, “Falun Dafa is good. The CCP is spreading propaganda and is lying. I hope you can learn more about the truth.” Another person overheard what I said and asked for a calendar. As a result, many people came and asked for one. Then the person who refused to take the calendar asked for one. I was so happy, and I shouted, “Falun Dafa is Good!” A person who got a calendar said, “Be careful! Don’t let bad people hear you.” I said, “I had to let them all know beforehand that the calendar was Falun Dafa-related, because I don’t want them to throw it away afterward.”

It is not easy to save people in the hostile environment in China. Once, when I talked to some young people who looked like students, they attacked me with knives. I was injured and got a bad head wound.

Another time I was reported to police. I was taken to the local police station. I clarified the truth to all the officers. Two of them understood the truth and withdrew from the CCP. I was released the next day.

It can be risky and challenging to clarify the truth in China. Sometimes I get tired, but I cannot stay at home and rest, as saving people is my sole wish.
