Righteous Thoughts Made All the Difference
(Minghui.org) In order to protect its power and extend its existence, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) recently launched a nationwide “zero-out campaign”, an attempt to force all practitioners to renounce their faith. Many in China have been harassed or arrested by the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the 610 Office, the police, and local officials.
“Pressures coming from outside the group of Dafa disciples are tests and opportunities to advance diligently...” (“A Congratulatory Message to the European Fa Conference,” Team Blue Translation)
Most practitioners have handled the situation with righteous thoughts and actions. We already know the CCP will disintegrate. Its struggle is part of the process, and its lashing out only accelerates its demise. This process is also an opportunity for practitioners to be tempered and become more mature.
Around mid-August, more than twenty local practitioners got together to study the Fa. The door was not completely shut because they were waiting for a few more to show up.
Three policemen suddenly entered the house. The practitioners remained calm and did not panic. One of them approached the policemen and said, “They are my guests. Do not dare to touch any of them.”
Her words and calm demeanor subdued the policemen. They must have been accustomed to people shouting or struggling when they come to arrest them, and probably had not experienced anything like this.
One of them pointed at the couplet on the door, “Do you all practice Falun Dafa?”
The practitioner answered, “Yes. Falun Dafa teaches people to be good. A policeman’s job is to protect the good people and arrest the bad ones. You should do the right thing and you’ll be blessed.”
The officers calmed down and said they did not have the heart to arrest them. Before leaving they said, “Don't congregate as a group. We won’t bother you if you study alone at home.”
A few practitioners were frightened by their suddenly entering a private residence. An officer walked by the practitioners who were not afraid, and took a Dafa book from a practitioner sitting in the back.
We know from Master's teaching that everything happens for a reason, so practitioners looked inward to find their shortcomings. One said his book was taken because he was afraid. Different states of mind result in different outcomes. Only righteous thoughts and actions can dissolve the bad elements.
