(Minghui.org) May 13 is the 28th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 21st World Falun Dafa Day. Every year officials and dignitaries around the world issue congratulatory proclamations. As of May 8, 2020, thirteen elected officials in New York have issued proclamations, citations and letters to mark the occasion. Some proclaimed Falun Dafa Month; others commended Falun Dafa for its beneficial contributions to the world.

“Introduced to Changchun, China by Mr. Li Hongzhi in May 1992,” stated New York Senator Andrew J. Lanzain in his proclamation, “Falun Dafa is an ancient Qi Gong discipline of mind and body cultivation; the purpose of Falun Dafa is to improve mental wellness through a series of gentle exercises and meditation, guided by the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance.”
