(Minghui.org) One can learn a lot from history and prophecies. Indications of the coronavirus epidemic, for example, have been found in ancient prophecies, both those in China and in the West.

This article is focused on interpreting the current epidemic based on prophecies, including when it started, where it started, and susceptible individuals. The primary sources of information are the Taibai Mountain Monument Inscription from the Ming Dynasty and the Old Testament.

When

The Taibai Mountain Monument Inscription, which was found after an earthquake, was written by Liu Bowen (1311-1375) in the Ming Dynasty.

In the poem, Liu wrote,“If you ask when the plague will come,I would say about wintertime around September and October”...“One worries the corpses are left unattended, and one worries how to cross the pig year to the rat year.”

The first person confirmed to have the Wuhan coronavirus began to show symptoms on December 1, 2019. Given the 14-day incubation period, the infection likely took place in November, which was October in the Chinese Lunar Calendar. In addition, Daniel Lucey, an infectious disease physician at Georgetown University Medical Center, said that people were likely already infected with the Wuhan virus as early as October 2019, which corresponded to September in the Chinese lunar calendar.

The year 2019 was the Year of the Pig and 2020 is the Year of the Rat, with the transition occurring on the Chinese New Year, January 25, 2020. By then, 15 cities in Hubei Province had been put on lockdown, including Wuhan, making this Chinese New Year extremely difficult for the families involved.

Where

Liu’s prophecy also described the disease’s onset in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province, and its spread to the rest of China and overseas.

“One worries the onset of disaster in Huguang (a region in China that includes Hubei),which then spread to all provinces across China.”

As a result of the delayed warning and continued cover-up by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), all provinces in China have had confirmed cases, with Tibet reporting its first case on February 4, 2020, and becoming the last province to be infected with the coronavirus.

Then, why is Wuhan is so special?

The greatest human rights violation in China is the suppression of Falun Gong, a peaceful meditation system introduced by Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1992. The persecution began in July 1999 and has seen millions of practitioners arrested, imprisoned, and tortured for following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

When former CCP leader Jiang Zemin planned to suppress Falun Gong in April 1999, Zhao Zhizhen, then managing director of the Wuhan City Radio and Television Bureau and Wuhan TV Station, took the lead in following Jiang's order.

In late June 1999, Wuhan TV Station dispatched three staff members and filmed a 6-hour defamatory video entitled “About Li Hongzhi.” This video not only played a critical role in damaging Falun Gong’s reputation but was also replayed through numerous media channels to stir up hatred against Falun Gong from the general public. More and more slanderous videos were produced afterward.

In the past 20 years, a large number of practitioners have been arrested, detained, imprisoned, and tortured for their belief. Some have experienced psychiatric abuses or become victims of forced organ harvesting.

Susceptible Individuals

To some extent, the coronavirus epidemic in China is similar to the plagues that occurred during the Roman Empire when Christians were persecuted. In fact, historical records showed that the plagues miraculously disappeared after people realized the wrong they had done and repented.

Similar stories are also recorded in the Old Testament. Because Noah was a righteous person, he was spared during the flood. Another example is the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham pleaded for the lives of any righteous people living there, such as his nephew Lot and his family. God agreed to spare the cities if 10 righteous people could be found. Two angels were sent to Lot in Sodom but were met by a vicious mob, who intended to violate the angels. Since only Lot and his family were righteous, the angels warned Lot to quickly evacuate the city and to not look back. The city was then destroyed by fire and brimstone.

These stories suggest that those who were unrighteous or committed wrongdoings were more susceptible to plagues or disasters.

According to the biblical book of Revelation 13:16-17, “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

The CCP has been doing the same in its persecution of Falun Gong. It forces everyone in China to take a stance against Falun Gong. Those who refuse to comply are punished, such as by being fired from their jobs, being expelled from school, and having their professional licenses revoked.

Those who comply with the CCP are usually members of the CCP and its affiliated youth organizations. By being part of the CCP, they have the mark of the CCP on them. If history is any indication, they would be most susceptible to plagues such as the ongoing coronavirus.

As the coronavirus epidemic continues to ravage China, Falun Gong practitioners should remind each other to do a better job helping people see through the CCP's slander of Falun Gong so that they can stay safe amidst the outbreak.
