Houston, Texas: Practitioners Thank Master Li and Wish Him a Happy Moon Festival

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Houston, Texas, gathered in Hermann Park to wish the founder of Dafa, Mr. Li Hongzhi, a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival. They talked about their cultivation experiences and expressed their gratitude for Master Li’s compassionate salvation.

Troubles Resolved

Ms. Dai said she used to have many ailments, such as migraine headaches, dizziness, joint pain, weakness in her limbs, insomnia, and gastrointestinal problems. She felt life was meaningless. She had a bad temper and even considered suicide.

A colleague told her about Falun Dafa. Soon after she began practicing, everything changed and all her ailments were resolved. Reading Zhuan Falun and Master's other teachings helped her understand the meaning of life.

“My hot temper gradually disappeared, and I stopped sulking. I'm no longer bothered if people criticize me,” she said. “My health and temper are good. I am happy from the bottom of my heart. I would not be like this without Master Li. Thank you, Master!”

Cherishing Cultivation Opportunities

Ms. Guo started practicing Falun Dafa more than 20 years ago. “At first, I knew nothing about cultivation practice. But I was really drawn to the teachings of Falun Dafa. Twenty years have passed, but I still feel inspired and motivated.”

She recalled how fellow practitioners encouraged her and her family to remain strong and steadfast during difficulties. “We promoted Shen Yun together. We’ve clarified the truth during the CCP virus (coronavirus) pandemic. We work hard but we're happy,” she said.

Positive Changes after Practicing Falun Dafa

Mr. Zhang recalled how his back was injured while moving a heavy barrel when he was in high school. For decades afterward, he had back pain that prevented him from standing more than half an hour at a time. He tried many different medications, but the pain persisted.

A year after he began practicing Falun Dafa, his back pain disappeared. He now works full time in a media company. “The work is intense, but I am full of energy and can deal with any difficulties. I have faith in Master and the Fa,” he said.
