(Minghui.org) For many Chinese people, the public introduction of the ancient spiritual discipline of Falun Dafa 27 years ago opened up a new window in their lives. Like a stream of pure spring water, the practice has nourished and purified their souls.
Despite the persecution ordered by the communist regime in 1999, many Falun Dafa practitioners persisted in their faith and continued their spiritual journey following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
In the face of ever-present danger, they distribute information about the persecution to every corner of China, from cities to the villages and countryside.
In honor of the 27th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction and the 20th World Falun Dafa Day, many practitioners are sending their warmest regards to the Minghui website to celebrate this grand occasion and to wish Master Li a Happy Birthday, which is also on May 13.
These practitioners come from all walks of life. They have been using various channels to raise awareness of the persecution, including the internet, printing materials, and talking to people face to face.
Some practitioners go out every day to talk to people, rain or shine. Some, although in their 80s and 90s, learned computer skills and print informational materials for other practitioners to distribute.
One practitioner in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, wrote: “It has been 23 years since I began to practice Dafa, and I've operated a small material printing site in my home for 15 years. It's because of Master's protection that I've been able to stay firmly on my path of cultivation up to today. Now my husband has also begun to practice Dafa, and we will walk our remaining path well with each other's support.”
One couple in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, said: “We recently returned to our hometown in Linyi City and visited 16 of our relatives. They were all impressed with how much energy we had and were happy for us. We shared with them how practicing Falun Dafa benefited us.
“One of our nephews had suffered from rectal cancer for two years. Now he has begun to listen to Master's lectures and recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' Many of our relatives also withdrew from the different communist organizations.”
A practitioner from a material production site in Guangxi Province wrote: “It's our greatest honor to spread the facts. While we were printing the materials, we could feel Master's protection all the time. Every little bit of progress we've made comes from his encouragement and compassion.”
A small group of practitioners in Donggang City, Liaoning Province, said they have been working together to raise awareness among the government officials in various agencies in charge of the persecution in order to help them make the right choice and not participate in the crimes against humanity anymore. “Many of them awakened to their conscience and are now doing things within their abilities to help us.”
