(Minghui.org) I found a wallet on the street a few months ago and there was a bank card, a photo ID, and 500 yuan inside. I could only imagine how worried the owner must have been.
There was a phone number in the wallet. I called and told the owner that I’d deliver the wallet to his home. When we met, the owner was very grateful and excited to get his wallet back. He said that I was too kind. I told him that I was a Falun Gong practitioner and the teachings asked me to be a good person and to put others' needs before my own.
He told me that some of his classmates practiced Falun Gong. “You practitioners are truly kind. Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party deceived everyone in China about the practice. I can’t believe that the CCP would persecute a group of good people,” he said.
I told him about the persecution of Falun Gong and why it was wrong. I then explained to him why he needed to quit the CCP and its affiliates, and he did. He insisted on thanking me, and three days later he sent me a bag of rice and a container of cooking oil.
I recently helped 40 people quit the CCP and its affiliates by using this story to inspire their kind thoughts. Among them was an 84-year-old woman. After hearing what I had to say, she took the pen from my hand and wrote down her real name to quit the CCP. Then she clasped my hands and thanked me.
An 80-year-old woman asked me how old I was after I talked to her about Falun Gong. When I told her my age, she said that I looked nothing like 61. She responded, “No matter how I look at you, you seem to be in your 30s. Falun Gong is amazing.”
