A woman suffering from incurable disease gave Falun Gong a try despite the ongoing persecution of the mind-body practice. She recovered without medical intervention but was later arrested for upholding her faith. Though she was released on bail, the trauma of her sudden arrest resulted in a relapse of her old illness. She died just months later.
For many mainland Chinese, traveling overseas is their first opportunity to learn about Falun Gong, the persecution, and the brutality of the Communist Party.
