(Minghui.org) I used to teach information technology in middle school but now work as a school guard. It’s a lowly job, yet everyone thinks that I have the best job in the school. That’s because I work only on Saturday and Sunday, yet earn the same salary and get benefits as when I was a teacher.
My job change happened because I repeatedly clarified the truth to teachers and students at the school and those who work in different departments in the Ministry of Education and because I filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin.
Clarifying the Truth to the School Administration
I started practicing Falun Dafa in the summer of 2013. As a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple, I clarified the truth to my family and friends, as well as strangers on the street.
Gradually, I started telling my colleagues about Falun Dafa and persuaded them to do the three withdrawals without any interference from the principal. However, things changed upon the arrival of a new principal and I filed a criminal complaint against Jiang using my real name.
In June 2015, I sent the criminal complaint and received a reply. The next month, the school secretary and a person from the Ministry of Education visited in order to verify if I had indeed filed a complaint.
When the new school year began, five people—the principal, a secretary, and three assistant principals—formed a team to change my mind and make me rescind my complaint. I used this chance to tell them about Dafa.
They could not force me to give up practicing Falun Dafa or sign a statement; on October 1, the new principal threatened to prevent me from teaching.
My first thought was to say to him, “I'll continue to practice even if you don't allow me to teach.” Then I realized that this was walking the path arranged by the old forces. I had to walk the path arranged by Master, so I said to the principal, “You're persecuting me. You're not allowed to change my job because of my faith.”
Later, I learned that the school administration had already decided what to do with me but didn't carry it out. This was just like what Master said in Zhuan Falun:
“We have said that good or bad comes from a person's initial thought, and the thought at that moment can bring about different consequences.”
Clarifying the Truth at the Ministry of Education
In spring the next year, higher authorities ordered that I be transferred to a rural school. Their stated purpose was to prevent me from teaching the students how to break through the firewall and find overseas websites. However, I knew that this was an excuse, as I had never taught this to the students and it could not be done because of the strict control of the school computers and IP addresses.
Master said,
“Clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings are what you need to accomplish. There is nothing else for you to accomplish. There is nothing else in this world that you need to accomplish.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2015 New York Fa Conference”)
I decided to clarify the truth to those in the Ministry of Education and started with the Party committee officer who came with the education secretary to verify the criminal complaint that I filed.
It happened that there was a change in the bus route on the day I traveled from the rural school to the Ministry of Education. A co-worker tried to dissuade me from going; he worried that I would lose all the benefits and privileges that I could have at the school. However, I felt that the old forces were trying to obstruct me and I was determined to go.
When I arrived, the director was waiting for me and there was no one else in the office. I asked him the reason for my transfer, and he answered that it was confidential.
He laughed in agreement when I mentioned that the Chinese Communist Party is a rogue organization, but he said that he had no choice. I had initially thought that the outcome of the talk might not be good, but it went very well.
It was just like what Master said,
“Actually, with a lot of things if you calmly and gently talk to people and handle those things rationally, you'll find that your wisdom will flow forth like a spring, and every sentence of yours will get right to the point, and every sentence will speak the truth.” (“Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference” in Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. III)
After leaving his office, I discovered that the signage outside every office contains all the officers' names and contact details. I wrote them all down so that other practitioners and I could send truth-clarification materials to them.
Clarifying the Truth to Co-workers at the Rural School
In the past, I had tried to clarify the truth to my colleagues on a one-to-one basis so as not to let the school administration know and also to protect the teachers. But at the rural school, I clarified the truth more openly and only persuaded the teachers to do the three withdrawals on a one-to-one basis.
There was a school security guard whom I helped to do the three withdrawals, and I told him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” After this, he started greeting me with “Falun Dafa is good” and I would reply with “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
In less than a week, he told me that the four fingers on his previously-injured hand were able to move again. I told him to continue reciting the words. When I got the chance to see him again after being transferred back to the main school, he told me that all of his fingers could now move freely.
It was just like what Master said,
“Zhen Shan Ren—three sacred words have boundless Fa powersFalun Dafa is good—true thoughts alter all disasters” (“The Source Of All Fa” in Hong Yin IV)
Clarifying the Truth to the 610 Office
I felt that the director was quite kindhearted, as he told me not to travel back and forth due to the long distance from the rural school to the ministry. I thought that I should just do my job well, since I had already clarified the truth to him and also sent out the truth-clarification materials.
Not long after, however, he told the school secretary that he was looking for me. I sent forth righteous thoughts while on the way there and arrived to see a “demerit” document awaiting my signature. It was because I practiced Falun Gong and filed a criminal complaint against Jiang. However, according to the Constitution, a citizen has the right to file a complaint.
I originally didn't want to sign it, but the director said that he would not be able to complete his work if I refused. I didn't want to make things difficult for him and said, “I'll sign that I disagree with it and the reason for my disagreement. If otherwise, I won't sign it.”
He agreed reluctantly.
I wrote that I disagreed with the content because Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa and all Chinese people should file a complaint against Jiang because he had brought disaster to the country and people.
Initially, the director said that the document will be part of the official record. However, it was not publicized at the teachers' meeting, nor was it put out on the announcement board. I knew that they couldn't file it on record, as I had written about Falun Dafa on the document.
I felt that it was the 610 office that wanted to punish those who had filed a criminal complaint.
Master said,
“Usually wherever there is a problem, that is where Dafa disciples should go to clarify the facts, and do so tenaciously.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference” in Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. VIII)
I decided to clarify the truth to the director of the 610 office on May 1, 2016. Through clarifying the truth to the director, I realized that he had been severely brainwashed by the Party. Fortunately, he had read the truth-clarification materials that were sent previously and the content shocked him.
When I discussed the self-immolation hoax with him, he said, “You said that Wang Jingdong positioned his hands inaccurately. Maybe it changed after he was burned.”
“His legs' position is completely wrong too,” I said. “The fire wouldn't affect that.”
After our discussion, he sent me out graciously.
I had previously wondered if I should clarify the truth to the management at the Ministry of Education and 610 office but when I did, it was an unexpected, yet great, outcome. When my co-workers heard about this, they expressed respect for my courage.
Master said,
“Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master.” (“Zhuan Falun”)

Clarifying the Truth to Students
I wrote a complaint after I was given the demerit punishment, and at the same time, I wondered if I should clarify the truth to my students.
Though I had been telling them about the principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” I didn't specifically mention Falun Dafa. But when I told a student that one will receive blessings when reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” the parents heard about it.
One of the parents called the school about this and, very soon, the secretary from the main school called me to warn me against clarifying the truth to students.
I had initially wanted to look within and do better in clarifying the truth. But the student with whom I talked to earlier kept asking me to re-teach the words to her, as she had forgotten them. I did and the other students in the class wanted to know too. One boy even wrote it on a piece of paper and put it in his pocket.
I was deeply moved and developed a thought that was not on the Fa: the students are so innocent. This is so worthwhile that I would jump into a fire if I had to. Later, I realized that the thought might have given the old forces a loophole to persecute me as that day, the secretary told me to stop teaching and return to the main school to await further instructions.
Clarifying the Truth to Parents
A group of parents came to the school and complained, putting tremendous pressure on the principal. Once the parents left, the administration vented their frustration on me and wanted to report it to the ministry.
They said, “Because you didn't listen and insisted on clarifying the truth to the students, you can't blame us. The parents are afraid their kids will set themselves on fire.”
When I heard this, I decided to look for the parents to clarify the truth.
As I had only told one class about Dafa, I asked the class teacher for the parents' contact details, but was told that she didn't have it. The headmaster also told me that the school didn't record this information.
But under Master's arrangement, I happened to meet a student from another grade and asked for his address. When I arrived at the village, the first person that I met was that parent who first went to the school to complain.
She gathered all other parents when she saw me. I told them, “I am just like everyone who wants only the best for their children and to teach them to be truthful, kind, and tolerant.”
They quickly realized that the Falun Gong principles are good, and I assured them that believing in Dafa can only bring them blessings and won't affect their children’s futures negatively.
I went on to tell them about Dafa and the self-immolation hoax. After listening, they calmed down and even called the principal to say that they had never wanted me to stop teaching.
The secretary then called for me to return to the main school. The secretary even told me that they had helped send my things back from the branch school and was willing to lend me a car to take my things back if the principal didn't arrange a car for me.
This is just like what Master had said,
“When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn the tide.” (“20th Anniversary Fa Teaching” in Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)
Clarifying the Truth to Others
As it was nearing the summer school holidays in 2016, I was told to copy rules on being a teacher and on education while waiting for further instruction. Since I had already clarified the truth to the ministry and the school, I didn't feel uneasy and decided to use the time to study more Fa and also do the exercises.
The secretary told me that I would resume my teaching position if I promised to stop clarifying the truth to the students. I rejected this request.
I continued to do what I was supposed to do and went out to clarify the truth with other practitioners. I even went to the ministry and 610 office to submit my complaint on my demerits punishment and saw the two directors.
The director of the Party committee office told me not to keep finding them and bringing trouble to myself. I advised him to listen to me instead and do the three withdrawals.
When the director of the 610 office saw my complaint, he said, “You have been given the lightest punishment, yet you still complain?”
I had heard from the director of the Party committee office that my punishment is considered the lightest. I decided to believe him and told him that the complaint is actually a truth-clarification letter and asked that he read it.
When the summer school holidays ended, I couldn't report to school on the first day, as my nephew was getting married. I called the principal to ask for leave and was told that I had been assigned to be a guard at the school gate.
He told me that I could rest at home from Monday to Friday and work only on Saturday and Sunday. This has given me more time to do the three things. With this arrangement, I could also clarify the truth to teachers, their families, parents, and others who come to the school to do some work on weekends.
I sincerely thank Master for His compassionate salvation and arranging such a good cultivation path. I can only repay Master by becoming more diligent, studying the Fa, doing the three things well, and saving more people.
