(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 31 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuzhen Detained

Ms. Yang Shuzhen from Zhangbei County was arrested by officers from the Zhangbei County Police Department on the morning of April 20, 2016, for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center.

2. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Lingying and Mr. Wang Xianping Detained

Ms. Wang Lingying was arrested on the morning of April 8, 2016, for suing former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, and was detained for 15 days.

Mr. Wang Xianping from Xiping Town was arrested by officers from the 610 Office on April 12, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin. His home was ransacked, and he was detained for 15 days.

3. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Jin Chunzhong and Mr. Wen Shaolin Arrested

Mr. Jin Chunzhong and Mr. Wen Shaolin, from the Kuangji area in Jiangyou City, were arrested on April 6, 2016. Their homes were ransacked. Mr. Wen has returned home.

4. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Ruixi and Mr. Peng Huisheng Detained

Mr. Li Ruixi from the Chaoyang District and Ms. Peng Huisheng from Puning City were arrested while sending text messages about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Sanshui District on April 6, 2016. Both practitioners are being held in the Sanshui District Detention Center.

5. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xu Junbiao Arrested

Mr. Xu Junbiao was arrested at work on April 19, 2016. His whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Yingtai City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Geng Decheng Detained

Mr. Geng Decheng was arrested when he was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on the evening of April 16, 2016. He was taken to a detention center.

Ms. Zhang Chunyan was arrested by police on April 20, 2016.

9. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Hui Forced to Leave Home

Ms. Wang Hui's rental home was monitored on April 14, 2016 by officers from the Changping Domestic Security Division, who were staked out there. She was forced to leave home to avoid being illegally arrested.

10. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Gaohua Detained

Ms. Hu Gaohua was arrested by officers from the Panggong Police Station in the Xiangcheng District on the morning of April 14, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin. She is being held in the Xiangyang City No. 1 Detention Center.

11. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wu Yunhua Detained

Ms. Wu Yunhua from Guidong County was arrested at home by Zhang Tun, Zhang Yujun, and other officers from the Guidong County Domestic Security Division, while studying the Falun Gong teachings on the morning of March 8, 2016. Her home was ransacked, and she was detained for 15 days in a detention center.

12. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Feng Liguo Arrested

Ms. Feng Liguo was arrested on February 13, 2016. Her whereabouts are unknown.

13. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Dongling and Ms. Meng Fanxiang Arrested

Ms. Zhao Dongling, from Caojiahuang Village, Shizilu Town, Junan County, and Ms. Meng Fanxiang, from Xujiahuang Village, were arrested by officers from the Chengxi Police Station in Shizilu Town on the morning of April 17, 2016. Both practitioners have returned home.

14. [Huailai County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Runfang, Ms. Yan Xiaojun, and Ms. Hao Jianfang were arrested and taken to the Sangyuan Police Station by the Huailai County police on the morning of April 17, 2016. The three practitioners were released that evening.

15. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Zhang Shunxian Detained

Ms. Zhang Shunxian from the Yunyan District was arrested by officers from the Dayingpo Police Station on April 19, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers confiscated two notebook computers, a printer, and printed materials. Ms. Zhang was held in the Yunyan District Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao Ping from the Tongzhou District was arrested on the morning of April 20, 2016. When Mr. Tan Shouli went to Ms. Zhao's home that afternoon he was arrested.

Ms. Wang Dehua from Xiong County was arrested when she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Gu'an County on the evening of April 18, 2016. She was taken to the Langfang City Detention Center.
