Fallen High-Ranking Chinese Officials Involved in Persecution of Falun Gong (Part 1 of 2)

From December 2012 to November 2015, nearly 800 high ranking “tigers” have been indicted for corruption, including 133 at the provincial and ministerial levels and 656 at lower levels. What has rarely been mentioned in the mainstream media, either inside or outside of China, is that almost all of these fallen “tigers” have been involved in the 16-year persecution of Falun Gong.

More and More Local Officials in China Refuse to Carry Out the Persecution

While the Party's official policy to persecute Falun Gong remains in place, the degree to which it is carried out varies widely. In more and more areas, local officials are taking a step back, recognizing both that Falun Gong is good, and that the time may soon arrive when Jiang Zemin is brought to justice for his role in the persecution. Some fear being implicated themselves, while others simply choose not to persecute people for their beliefs.

80,000 Citizens in Tangshan, Hebei Province Call to Prosecute Jiang Zemin

More Chinese citizens are demanding to prosecute the former Chinese leader who directed the violent persecution of Falun Gong that has now lasted 16 years. The 80,000 signatures by Tangshan residents reflect growing public support for the 200,000 cases filed against Jiang Zemin by direct victims of the persecution and their families.
