(Minghui.org) I started to practice Falun Dafa in 1999. Brought up under the influence of atheism, I didn't know what cultivation was, but the benevolent master of Falun Dafa didn't give up on me. I started to be cleansed the first day I started to study the Fa.
I had a very serious problem with constipation before practicing Falun Dafa. I also had severe anemia. I was pale, thin, and weak. My abdomen felt bloated all day.
I sought treatment many times, but nothing ever helped. However, the morning after I started to learn Falun Dafa, I was cured of the constipation that had troubled me for years. I was amazed and could hardly believe it was true, but it was.
My many other ailments also disappeared, such as, ringworm on my hand, rhinitis, and pharyngitis. More than 10 years have passed, and I am still free of illness. I also became more open-minded and stopped obsessing over trivial concerns.
My husband witnessed how I changed physically and mentally and supported me wholeheartedly. For many years, he never had any health issues, not even a cough.
My Son Overcomes Tetanus
My son also believes Dafa is good. He got tetanus from a cut when he was in college. He was put on IVs in the hospital for three days. When he came home, he was still on the IVs. He had a high fever, and his arm and his lymph nodes were swollen.
In my mind, I asked for Master's help and suggested to my son that he study the Falun Dafa teachings with me. He did, and three days later he was recovered and returned to school.
My Mother Recovers from Death's Door
My mother is 86 years old and very healthy. Although she is not a practitioner, she knows Dafa is good.
She had always taken Chinese medicine for her ailments. She often had extreme stomach pain and also had a really bad temper.
I visited her not long after I started practicing Falun Dafa and gave someone in the neighborhood a Dafa amulet. After I left, the person went to my mom's home and returned it. My mom took the amulet and said, “This is precious. If you don't want it, I'll take it.” She carefully put it away for safe-keeping.
The next day, she took a bad fall on the concrete in the yard. She was fine, however, not even a scratch on her. The following day, she had diarrhea the whole day. By the time she was ready to go to the hospital, she had recovered. The pain in her stomach that had caused her problems for decades was gone as well. My mother was grinning the whole day. She knew she was blessed because she kept the Dafa amulet.
My mom went to the township hospital last year for a minor health problem. After four days, she started to have difficulty breathing. The doctor said it was something wrong with her trachea. Three or four days later, her condition deteriorated, and my sister transferred her to the municipal hospital.
She was diagnosed with a heart problem. Because she had been incorrectly diagnosed in the first hospital, effective treatment had been delayed. The doctor told us to prepare for her funeral.
When I arrived at the hospital, my mom couldn't talk, and I knew then that only Dafa could save her. I encouraged her to say, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” When she was finally able to say these words in her broken voice, she was suddenly out of danger.
The doctor shook her head in disbelief: “It's really incredible--hard to understand. She's so old, and her heart almost stopped; plus we missed the best time to treat it. Despite all that, she survived.”
