(Minghui.org) Former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Jiang Zemin dominated Chinese politics for over two decades. Jiang issued the order to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, and the ongoing persecution is responsible for the deaths, incarceration, and torture of countless Falun Gong practitioners.
However, the tide is turning. Because practitioners have maintained the courage to clarify the truth about Falun Gong, lawsuits filed against Jiang Zemin have begun to surface.
Most Righteous Undertaking
Four practitioners and I filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin yesterday. We sent the complaint via express mail to China’s Supreme Procuratorate.
Having joined the wave of suing Jiang Zemin for the crimes he committed against practitioners, I would like to share my thoughts with fellow practitioners.
As a practitioner who has cultivated in Falun Gong for 20 years, I feel a responsibility to be part of this effort. In my personal opinion, this is a necessary step in the Fa-rectification, and it is important for validating the Fa and saving people. To file this complaint, I overcame my fear once I realized this to be a most righteous undertaking.
Letting Go of Invasive Thoughts
While working on the complaint, some human emotions went through my mind. I imagined what the respective government agencies would do and how I should or would react.
I suddenly realized that these thoughts were not correct. I began to eliminate them when sending forth righteous thoughts. These invasive thoughts soon disappeared and I felt very confident.
Proceeding With Care
When we first discussed the suing Jiang issue, everyone in our study group was excited, and they were ready to act on behalf of goodness. I cautioned and advised them to carefully prepare the case and proceed with dignity.
Master told us:
“Dafa is spreading widely, saving all sentient beings. Although those evil beings who are completely unsalvageable cannot be saved, they still can’t be allowed to do evil without end and thus persecute Dafa and its students, and the people of the world. Practitioners Must Take the Lead
Bringing Jiang Zemin to justice is the mission of practitioners, and it will also give ordinary people the courage to take legal action against Jiang and the others who have committed innumerable crimes against the Chinese people.
Practitioners in China taking legal action against Jiang Zemin will encourage all Chinese people to voice their opposition to the persecution. However, practitioners must take the lead.
It is normal to experience fear and other attachments. However, practitioners are taught how to deal with it and how to eliminate such negative thoughts, in the form of having righteous thoughts.
Practitioners have to be ready. In this way, many have already thought through every conceivable facet that comes with filing such a lawsuit. We should not push forward just because other practitioners have already filed a lawsuit against Jiang.
Remember, we do not take other practitioners as role models, as each and every practitioner has to base his or her decision on the situation at hand and the level of understanding necessary for such an undertaking.
