(Minghui.org) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner from a rural area and I never went to school. I am now 71 years old and have practiced Falun Dafa for 17 years. Our compassionate Master has cared for me so much and I've experienced many miraculous things.
My older sister practices Falun Dafa and told me it was really good. In 1997 she sent me the book Zhuan Falun. Since I did not know any Chinese characters, I could not read it. When I held Zhuan Falun, I could not even tell if I was holding it upside down or not. Because my sister lived far away she could not help me, so I asked my husband to teach me. He said, “This book is quite thick, and you don't know a single Chinese character, so how am I supposed to teach you?” I was very sad.
One night I suddenly woke up. I saw a glowing, open book about a foot from my right side. When I looked at it more carefully I saw that every character was glowing and shiny. I was so shocked. The next night, the same thing happened on my left side. From then on, I was able to read Zhuan Falun.
I was later able to read Master's other lectures as well. I read the books every day, and never stopped despite the persecution. I now memorize Hong Yin and Hong Yin II, and can read Hong Yin III. I'm also memorizing parts of Hong Yin III.
