Additional Persecution News from China – November 20, 2015 (29 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 25 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to the report, 36 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 40 were illegally arrested.

1. [Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners from Qinhuangdao, including Mr. Guo Hongshan, were arrested at a practitioner's home on November 18, 2015, while making calendars with information about Falun Gong.

2. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Jianshu Arrested

Mr. Li Jianshu from Xuefang Town was arrested on November 18, 2015. His home was ransacked, and three printers, a computer, and a DVD writer were confiscated.

3. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Fan Caifang Arrested

Ms. Fan Caifang was arrested at work on November 18, 2015, for filing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former Party head who instigated the persecution of Falun Gong.

4. [Guiyang, Guizhou Province] Mr. Ye Shaoxue Imprisoned

Mr. Ye Shaoxue has been imprisoned at the No. Six Ward of the Guizhou Duyun Prison since November 17, 2015. His family has not been allowed to visit him.

5. [Longjing City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Quanzhan Arrested

Mr. Wang Quanzhan was arrested at home on November 16, 2015. The police ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Gong materials.

6. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huo Huixian Arrested

Ms. Huo Huixian, from Babao Village, Chaoyang City, was arrested on November 9, 2015, by officers from the Beita Police Department. Her Falun Gong books, a bank card, and more than 10,000 yuan in cash were confiscated. Her whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Huang Jiaying Arrested

Ms. Huang Jiaying was arrested on November 18, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She is being held at the Changhe Police Station.

8. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] 53-year-old Ms. Lu Xiuying Arrested

9. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Jia Yuhua, Mr. Ning Huagui, and Ms. Fu Linqin were arrested on November 11, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. They are being held at the Nanshan Detention Center for 15 days.

10. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Wei, 28; Mr. Wang Zhibao, 56; and Ms. Liu Yulan, 54, were arrested on November 18, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Officers from the Dunhua City Domestic Security Division and the Jiangnan Police Station ransacked their homes and confiscated their printers, computers, Falun Gong books, along with other personal property.

Ms. Li Chunying, 50; Ms. Du Zhonghua, 62; and Ms. Sui were also arrested for suing Jiang Zemin. Their homes were ransacked and personal belongings were confiscated.

11. [Yulin City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Shaohua and Ms. Yu Fanglan Arrested

Mr. Zhang Shaohua and Ms. Yu Fanglan were arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong on October 8, 2015. Their homes were ransacked.

12. [Qianjiang City, Hubei Provice] Mr. Zheng Dingping Detained

Mr. Zheng Dingping was arrested on November 13, 2015. He is being held at the Yangshi Detention Center in Qianjiang City.

13. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Yu Shuqing, from Shenghe Village, Hongqi Township, Hengshan District, was arrested on November 17, 2015. Officers from the Shengli Police Station ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a cellphone, and other personal belongings. She was held at the Jixi Detention Center.

Hengshan District residents Ms. Liu Mei and Ms. Xihuan were arrested on November 16 and November 17 respectively. Both women are being held at a detention center.

14. [Fengxiang, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Han Zhengxiang Arrested

Mr. Han Zhengxiang was arrested on November 17, 2015, by officers from the Shibahe Police Station. His whereabouts are unknown.

15. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Lijun, Ms. Wang Yulan, Ms. Liu Xixiu, Mr. Cui Jingxiang, Ms. Qi Xiangying, Ms. Wang Guiying, and Ms. Li Jinge were arrested at Mr. Cui's home on November 13, 2015.

Ms. Zhao and Ms. Wang Yulan were taken to a detention center. Ms. Liu was released on bail due to her health condition. The other practitioners were released the same night.

16. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Sun Qiwen, his wife, and his brother Mr. Sun Qiwu were arrested in November 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. They are being held at the Beigou Detention Center in Penglai City.

17. [Jiajiang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Fengzhen and Ms. Lan Niang Arrested

Ms. Li Fengzhen and Ms. Lan Niang were arrested on November 5, 2015.

18. [Tengzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Hongxia Detained

Ms. Zhou Hongxia was taken to the Tengzhou Detention Center on November 17, 2015.

Mr. Zhang Wenqing was arrested at home on November 12, 2015, and taken to the Ziyang Detention Center.

20. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Lihua Arrested

Officers from the Huangcun Town Police Station arrested Ms. Gao Lihua, who is from the Daxing District, on November 10, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was released the same day after officials at the detention center refused to accept her because of her high blood pressure.

21. [Yanshi City, Henan Province] Ms. Hu Menghuan Arrested

Ms. Hu Menghuan was arrested on November 18, 2015.

22. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. He Baoshan Harassed

Ms. He Baoshan was harassed and her home ransacked on November 10, 2015.

23. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xie Taiyi and Ms. Luo Bihua Arrested

Mr. Xie Taiyi and his wife Ms. Luo Bihuang were arrested at the farmer's market on September 22, 2015. They were taken to the Longquanyi District Police Station and questioned about their lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. Their home was ransacked.

24. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Jun and Ms. Zhou Yonghua Harassed

Mr. Li Jun was arrested on November 16, 2015, and his home ransacked. Officers from the Domestic Security Division of Xintai City Police Department questioned him about his legal complaint against Jiang Zemin, and forced him to sign and fingerprint a document. He was released afterwards.

The officers also went to Ms. Zhou Yonghua's office and questioned her about her complaint against Jiang Zemin.

25. [Linyi, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Caiyun Arrested

Ms. Zhang Caiyun of Jiuqu Village was arrested on November 18, 2015. Officers from the Jiuqu Police Station confiscated her Falun Gong books and other personal belongings. Several years ago, she was held in a forced labor camp for 18 months.

26. [Beijing] Police Harass Practitioners

Huairou District police officers harassed Ms. Lei Huiqin, Ms. Zhou Fengqin, Ms. Zhou's son, Mr. Zhao Zhong, Ms. Li Dianlan, Ms. Li Wenqin, Mr. Sun Fuhua, Ms. Xu Xiurong (age 90), Ms. Wang Xiuling, and Ms. Jiao Shuying.

Ms. Wang Junhua and Ms. Fang Yaqin were held at the Huairou Detention Center.

27. [Chongqing] Mr. Wen Debo and Ms. Kuang Xiaochun Arrested

Mr. Wen Debo was taken to a brainwashing center on November 18, 2015, by officers from the Degan Police Station and agent Long Yongli from the Degan Comprehensive Management Office.

The same group of people also went to the open market and confiscated Ms. Kuang Xiaochun's merchandise. When they were taking her to the brainwashing center, Ms. Kuang escaped along the way. She has left home to avoid further arrest.

28. [Liupanshui, Guizhou Province] Practitioners Harassed for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Lu Hengyi was arrested at home and taken to the Wangjiazhai Town Police Station on November 4, 2015. She was asked about her complaints against Jiang Zemin and her blood was drawn without her consent.

Mr. Wang Guozhong, an employee of Wangjiazhai Coal Mine, was called to the security office on November 13, 2015. He was forced to sign a document after being asked about his complaints against Jiang Zemin.

The same thing also happened to Mr. Yan Hua, also an employee of the Wangjiazhai Coal Mine, on November 15, 2015.

Ms. Li Wenying, Ms. Yu Qizhen, and other family members of practitioners who work at Wangjiazhai Coal Mine were also questioned about suing Jiang Zemin.

29. [Yishui, Shandong Province] Sixteen Practitioners Arrested or Harassed for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Gong Maomei was harassed at home on November 17, 2015.

Ms. Hao Shifeng was harassed at home on November 4, 2015.

Ms. Tian Guangcui was harassed at home on November 7, 2015.

Ms. Wang Yongfen and Ms. Wu Yuye were harassed on November 6, 2015.

Ms. Zhang Meifang and Ms. Qu Meihua were harassed at home on November 12, 2015.

Ms. Liu Zhenzhen and Ms. Xue Yuncai were harassed at home on November 10, 2015.

Mr. Xie Wenxian, Ms. Wu Hongyun, and Ms. Sun Xingli were also harassed.

Ms. Wu Meishan and Ms. Xia Zhuying were arrested.
