(Minghui.org) I work at a factory and I am responsible for cooking meals for more than 20 people. One day last year while I was riding my bicycle to go shopping, a speeding motorcycle hit me from behind. My body went airborne and landed upside down. I lost consciousness and was rushed to a hospital.
I heard later that the first hospital did not accept me, and I was sent to a second hospital. An x-ray was taken and the doctor told my son that three bones in my spine were squeezed together, and my lumbar spinal disc was dislocated. The situation was very serious and there was no known treatment. If I could walk later, I wouldn't be able to work. The other possibility would be that I could be paralyzed for life.
My son did not dare tell me the bad news. When I woke up, the parents of the motorcycle rider came to visit me. It turned out that we were acquaintances. I said to my son, “Don't take any money from them. As a Falun Gong practitioner, I don't take other people's money and I don't need a physical checkup. I'll be fine in a few days. Just tell them to go home."
I was in severe pain. The doctors suggested that I take some anti-inflammatory drugs. I said to them, “I am a Dafa practitioner and I will be fine. There is no need for me to take any medicine.” They knew I was not going to cooperate, so they asked several people to grab my arms and forcibly transfused anti-inflammatory fluid into my body. I told them the fluid would turn into water. They did not listen to me and wanted to do the same thing again the next day. I told them that it'd cause blisters if they tried again. They did not believe me. However, this time blisters did show up and they were forced to give up performing further transfusions.
When I insisted on going home, my family members agreed because there wasn't anything they could do for me at the hospital. At home, my son wanted me to stay in his bed and asked his wife and my grandson to sleep in the living room, so that he could take care of me. I felt pretty bad about lying in bed, because I believed that a Dafa practitioner should be able to stand up.
That evening while my son was asleep, I tried to stand up despite the pain. As my foot was about to touch the ground, my son woke up and asked me what I was trying to do. I told him I was trying to go to the toilet. He woke his wife and asked her to help carry me to the toilet. It was a big hassle. After I came back and was back in bed, I remained in severe pain.
On the third night, after my son fell asleep, I tried to stand up again. I moved my body very slowly and leaned against the bed. Despite severe pain, I was finally able to stand up. I decided that I would practice the first Falun Gong exercise. After I finished, I went back to bed and was able to sleep. That was the first time I was able to sleep well after the accident.
Experiencing the Power of Falun Dafa
When I woke up in the morning, it was the fourth day after the accident. I thought to myself that since I could stand last night, I should be able to walk today. With a lot of pain I got out of bed and stood up. I asked Teacher to help me to walk. I wanted to validate the Fa and show my daughter-in-law how powerful Dafa was. I used my hands to support my waist area and moved very slowly towards the door.
When my son saw me at the door, he was shocked. Other family members also rushed over to hold me. I said to them, “There is no need to hold me. Now, you know how powerful Falun Dafa is. I can go to the toilet by myself.” My son smiled and said: "Okay, Falun Dafa is good!" My husband said, "Last night you needed many people to carry you to the toilet. Now, you can go to the toilet by yourself. Yes, I believe Falun Dafa is powerful. I am completely convinced.”
As I moved slowly forward, my family members followed me. I thought I should walk normally instead of just dragging my feet. I asked for Teacher's help and began taking small steps forward. It took me quite a while to reach the toilet. Then, to squat down and retain balance was also quite difficult. I had to continue to ask for Teacher's help to finally accomplish that. Overall, this was a huge task for me to complete. When I was finished my feeling was quite different. I could walk almost normally.
That night I went back to my own room. I wanted to sit in meditation but I couldn't keep a straight back. It was very painful when I tried to straighten my back, but I did it anyway. I was able to sit for one hour and felt very comfortable afterward.
Starting on the fifth day, I was able to stand without any problem. While at home, the director of our factory came to visit me several times. He told me that the workers did not like the food prepared by the other cooks. In less than a month after the accident, I went back to work in the factory.
Upon arriving at the factory another accident occurred. My leg was bitten by a dog. The director of our factory quickly arranged a car to take me to the hospital. I said to them, "There is nothing to worry about. I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I should be fine. There is no need to go to a hospital. All of you just go back to work. "The director was in a hurry to catch a plane and had to leave also. Then, I washed the wound with water and wrapped it up by myself. Afterward, I was able to do the cooking like always.
All Workers Quit the CCP
On the third day the director returned from his trip. He did not go home and came directly to see me. I showed him my wound and said, “Look, I said I would be fine because I am a Falun Gong practitioner. As you can see, this large wound has healed. The dog bite is not nearly as serious as the dislocated disc in my spine. If it wasn't for being a Falun Gong practitioner, there would be no chance for me to return to work. I am fine now, because I am blessed by Falun Gong. I hope everyone can be as lucky as I am. I hope you can quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and be blessed. This is much more important than a simple injury. "
The director replied," I know Falun Dafa is good. "Actually, I spoke to the director many times in the past, but he never agreed to quit the CCP. All workers in our factory have now quit the CCP and they have also witnessed the power of Falun Dafa.
I have many more stories to tell. I suffered from many serious illnesses in the past. Each one of them could disable a person for life. However, for me it was merely a matter of several days. I want to thank Teacher and Dafa!
