(Minghui.org) Mr. Sun Wenqing was illegally tried by Laobian Court on October 27, 2014. The trial took place in Yingkou Detention Center.
Mr. Sun's attorney entered an innocent plea for Mr. Sun at the trial. Mr. Sun told the judge facts about Falun Gong, adding that the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident was a hoax. When the presiding judge offered him an opportunity to add anything else he wished to say, Mr. Sun requested his immediate release.
Mr. Sun was illegally arrested at a grocery market on June 9, 2014, for distributing Shen Yun DVDs. He was taken to the Yingkou Detention Center the next day. Officers from the Lunan Police Station ransacked his home.
Mr. Sun had been frequently subjected to vicious torture in detention centers and forced labor camps in the past.
