Solemn Declaration
My wife practices Falun Gong and I supported her in the past. She was later illegally detained. I was extorted 9,000 yuan and forced to turn in Falun Gong books to the village committee. In order to get my wife out, I bought them dinners and sent gifts. My wife returned home after three months. Afraid of further persecution, I tried to stop her from speaking out for Falun Gong. I beat and swore at my wife. I also tore up a truth-clarification booklet. I said a lot of disrespectful things to Teacher, Falun Gong, and practitioners.
I developed emphysema in 2011. I went to all kinds of hospitals to get medical treatment, but to no avail. Falun Gong practitioners came to see me and told me the truth about Dafa. I understood the truth, and withdrew from the party. I listened to Teacher's lectures and recited “Falun Dafa is great.” My illness is now gone. I am sorry for the bad things I did to Teacher and Dafa.
Thus, I solemnly declare: “Everything I have said, done, and written that is against Dafa is null and void. I believe that Dafa is great, and I will support Dafa to make up for my mistakes.”

Solemn Declaration
My wife practices Falun Gong. Many of her illnesses disappeared and she became healthy. I supported her. She was later arrested for distributing truth-clarification materials in another city. Under this pressure, my heart problem reoccurred and I almost died. When she came back home, I did not let her continue the practice as I did not want her to get arrested again. I secretly destroyed the Falun Gong lecture videos and tore up a copy of Zhuan Falun. I also said things that were disrespectful to Teacher. I have witnessed the changes of my wife, both physically and mentally. I support her practicing Falun Gong. I sometimes help her to make truth-clarification materials. I deeply regret what I have done in the past.
Therefore, I solemnly declare: “Everything that I have said and done in the past that was disrespectful to Dafa is null and void. I support my wife practicing Falun Gong. I will make up for the losses that I have caused Dafa.”
