(Minghui.org) The Mengyin County Political and Legal Affairs Committee in Shandong Province recently held a meeting to plan a large scale arrest of practitioners countywide. Under orders from Meng Qinglong, Party secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee; Zheng Zhaoxin, director of the Police Department; and Wang Zaien, director of the 610 Office, officers from the County Police Department and police stations at township and town levels launched a large scale operation to arrest and harass of practitioners. Eighteen practitioner arrests have been confirmed. Numerous practitioners' homes were ransacked.
Agents from the Tanbu Town Police Station and the local 610 Office arrested Ms. Wang Xiuqin and Ms. Feng Aihong from Laishiwan Village, Tanbu Town, and ransacked their homes. Agents from the Jiuzhai Township Police Station and local government arrested Ms. Wang Faxiu from Xiezhuang, Jiuzhai Township; Mr. Guo Yuxiang from Beilou, Jiuzhai Township; and Ms. Wang Zaixiang from Tangjiazhuangzi, Jiuzhai Township, and ransacked their homes. Ms. Wang Faxiu is being held in the Mengyin County Detention Center. Mr. Zhao Shengbao and Ms. Ying Ruifang from Dongpengwu Village, Jiuzhai Township, were arrested and are being held in the Mengyin County Detention Center. Ms. Wang Fafeng from Zhoujiagouzi Village, Mengyin Town, was arrested and her home ransacked by agents from the Jushan Police Station and local government. Mr. Zhang Fucun from Yuezhuang Village, Mengyin Town, was arrested and his home ransacked.
Officers from the Duozhuang Town Police Station and agents from the Duozhuang Town 610 Office barged into Ms. Lu Xingying's home in Xishanjiao Village, Duozhuang Town, Mengyin County on May 22, 2012, confiscated an MP3 player and other items, and took Ms. Lu to the Brainwashing Center of the Mengyin County 610 Office.
They barged into Ms. Liu Guichun's home in Beiduozhuang Village, Duozhuang Town around 7 a.m. on May 22, confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, and took Ms. Liu to the Mengyin County 610 Office Brainwashing Center.
Around 7 a.m. on May 22, they barged into the home of Ms. Zhang Lanfen, 78, in Beiduozhuang Village, Duozhuang Town, and confiscated Falun Gong books and over 1,200 yuan in cash.
Around 9 a.m. on May 22, they arrested Mr. Peng Changguo at his home.
They barged into Ms. Sheng Yihua's home in Xichangming Village on the morning of May 22 and got a recorder. Ms. Sheng managed to escape.
Practitioners from Duozhuang Town, Mengyin County, who were harassed by officers from the Duozhuang Town Police Station and agents from the Duozhuang Town 610 Office between 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on May 22 included: Mr. Cheng Zhengguo from Changjiazhuang Village; Mr. Liu Changrui from Dongduozhuang Village; Ms. Liu Changfen and Ms. Feng Guiqin from Xiahe Village; Ms. Liu Fenghou and Ms. Pan Yongfeng from Sihouwa, Duozhuang Town; Ms. Duan Zunju from Waziping Village; and Ms. Duan Xianling from Shimazhuang Village.
Over 10 agents from the Mengyin County 610 Office and the Jushan Township Police Station barged into elderly Ms. Li Yinglan's home in Jiguanzhuang, confiscated two copies of informational materials about Falun Gong, then took Ms. Li to the Mengyin County 610 Office Brainwashing Center. They also confiscated a computer from a practitioner's home in Caozhuang Village.
Agents from the Mengyin County 610 Office and the Changguan Police Station barged into Ms. Ji Yongzhen's home in Dongguan Village, Mengyin Town, around 6 a.m. on May 22; confiscated Falun Gong books, informational materials about Falun Gong, cash, cell phones and other items; and took Ms. Ji to the Mengyin County 610 Office Brainwashing Center.
Agents from the 610 Office arrested Ms. Gong Yan from Dongguan Village, Mengyin Town. They ransacked her home and confiscated informational materials about Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, computers, and other items.
Mr. Zhang Zongping works at Mengyin County Rural Credit Cooperatives. Officers from the Mengyin County Domestic Security Division barged into the home of Mr. Zhang and his wife, Ms. Zhang Rongqiu. They confiscated some of paper money that had facts about Falun Dong written on it and arrested Mr. Zhang. He was released that afternoon.
Ten agents including officer Zhao Haijun and Taoxu Town Party officials Zheng and Li Piguo drove to Ms. Ren Xiuhong's home in Lijiazhuang, Taoxu Town, and arrested her. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, an EVD player, and a cell phone debit card. Ms. Ren was released in the evening.
Mr. Shi Shaoxin, Mr. Wang Dongcheng, Mr. Liu Naifu, Mr. Zhou Chuanzhong, Ms. Shi Hui, Mr. Sun Zonghua, Mr. Lei Weifeng, and Mr. Ji Yongxian, all from Taoxu Town, were harassed on May 22.
Wang Jian and Qin Chengzhi from the Mengshan Administrative Committee of Mengyin County and over ten officers from the Mengshan Police Station harassed practitioners in areas under the jurisdiction of the Mengshan Administrative Committee of Mengyin County on May 22. They were not able to harass Mr. Zhang Xiheng, Mr. Shi Yunming, or Mr. Zhang Chengfa because their doors were tightly locked.
Wang Jian and Qin Chengzhi from the Mengshan Administrative Committee of Mengyin County, and six or seven officers from the Mengshan Police Station ransacked Mr. Wang Guangjian's home in Baiquanyu Village around 7 p.m. on May 22, and took Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Lei Weiling, to the Mengshan Police Station. Ms. Lei was released after having 500 yuan extorted from her.
Over 20 agents barged into Ms. Li Liniang's home in the residential area of the former Mengyin County Foreign Trade Company around 7 a.m. May 22, ransacked her home, and confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun and an MP3 player.
Officers from the Jushan Police Station went to the home of Mr. Wang Minglai and his wife in Mengyin Town on the morning of May 22. The couple refused to open the door. Mr. Wang's wife broadcast the officers' presence from the top of their single-story house. The officers left empty-handed.
