(Clearwisdom.net) On November 28, 2011, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official Xiao Xueyu and others arrested Ms. Zheng Shuxian, from Xinjin County, Sichuan Province. On November 25, Xiao and several others had gone to Ms. Zheng’s home to harass her, and poisoned her with unknown drugs.
Ms. Zheng had severe illnesses before she practiced Falun Dafa. She regained her health through the practice. However, over the past 12 years, she has been constantly persecuted by the CCP because of her belief.
CCP Officials Poison Ms. Zheng
Ms. Zheng, who lives alone, was having a bowl of winter melon for lunch at her dining table at noon on November 25, 2011. Xiao Xueyu and several others came to her house and ordered her to sign a document renouncing Falun Gong. When Ms. Zheng refused, they rushed into her house and began to search her belongings. At a chaotic moment, Ms. Zheng suspected that they put drugs in her bowl of winter melon. The officials confiscated Falun Dafa books and CD lectures. After they left, Ms. Zheng finished her lunch, and she soon felt nauseated. She fell down and vomited. Her four roosters ate her vomit and began to vomit, too, then ate nothing for the next several days.
On November 28, 2011, Xiao led a group of people to Ms. Zheng’s house, seized her, and took her to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center
Falun Dafa Cures Ms. Zheng’s Severe Illnesses
Before she began practicing Falun Dafa, one of Ms. Zheng’s legs was disabled. Her lower body was numb and she could not bend her leg. As a result, she was incontinent. The rest of her body was in constant, excruciating pain, and she needed painkillers around the clock. In January 1999, she learned Falun Dafa. She regained her health shortly thereafter without the help of any medicine. Her temperament improved significantly when she followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and her family was happy. After her husband died, his former employer paid Ms. Zheng 65 yuan (US$10) subsistence allowance per month. Ms. Zheng did not complain to the village and apply for more. She had been living in straitened circumstances.
After the CCP launched the illegal persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, Ms. Zheng was under a great deal of pressure from the communist regime and the village officials. She did not give up her belief and continued practicing Falun Gong.
Seized and Persecuted Many Times
The Xinjin County police and local officials arrested, detained, and monitored Ms. Zheng many times, and searched her house. The persecution has intensified since March 2011. Local CCP officials and village commissioners frequently sent people to harass, monitor, and track her in attempts to force her to give up her practice of Falun Dafa.
