(Minghui.org) I worked with other practitioners on several occasions to rescue practitioners who were arrested and to help those who were undergoing serious sickness karma. We were successful nearly every time. However, from what I have seen over a long period of time, it wasn't the end of the story for those practitioners who were rescued from arrest or saved from critical sickness. On the contrary, there's an important thing to do, which is to help the practitioner to improve on the Fa. If the practitioner can't make improvements and eliminate their gaps, the danger will remain, and who knows when evil will take advantage of the person's gap again and succeed in making an arrest. Additionally, the illusion of sickness karma may appear, or some new attachment will bring about a cultivation problem, causing the whole cultivation body to fluctuate and become uncooperative. I would like to share more of my understanding concerning these matters.

1. Following a successful rescue, we must help the practitioner with compassionate sharing, helping him or her identify the gap and eliminate it in order to really make an improvement. Truly improving our cultivation is always our first priority, as Teacher said many times. This is especially the case for practitioners who were arrested; they were arrested again since they hadn't eliminated their human thinking. Those who'd gotten out of illness karma became sick again - another illusion of sickness karma, because the human notion of being ill was never eliminated. Although they were finally saved, their problems could have been avoided had their human notions been eliminated in time.

2. Coordinators and practitioners must avoid making a “hero” out of a fellow practitioner who got out of prison due to righteous thoughts. We must clearly recognize that, in general, when a Dafa practitioner gets out of tribulation, it was due to Teacher's compassionate protection and strengthening. What appeared to us was that the practitioner in tribulation was able to maintain righteous thoughts and was helped by other practitioners actively taking part. Subsequently, the entire process succeeded, but created a showoff mentality using forced labor camps and prisons as a standard for improving cultivation levels. They went around talking about it, referring to some repeated arrests. Eventually, it caused fluctuations in our whole body, created gaps, and eventually brought losses.

This is not to say that practitioners coming out of tribulations can't do experience sharing with other practitioners, but, rather, the basis for their sharing should be for rectifying the Fa or rectifying themselves. Did the practitioners taking part in the sharing feel Teacher's mighty grace or have personal worship? This is a fundamental problem.

3. Support fellow practitioners who got out of tribulations to improve their xinxing as soon as possible. The best way to do this is to study the Fa and cultivate solidly.

Fellow practitioners, please kindly correct anything inappropriate.
