(Clearwisdom.net) A large Independence Day Parade was held in Saipan, the capital of the Northern Mariana Islands, on July 4, 2011. The Falun Dafa Association in Saipan participated in the parade and received warm feedback. This was the tenth time Falun Gong practitioners have participated in the Independence Day parade in Saipan. The Saipan Tribune published a picture of Falun Gong practitioners' performance in front of the parade stage as the next day's headline.

The parade started at 10:30 a.m. The Falun Dafa procession included a waist drum troupe, celestial maiden dance troupe and a float. A big banner stating “Falun Dafa” led the procession. The waist drum troupe, dressed in golden uniforms, presented a spirited drum performance and neat alignment. The resonant drums shook people's hearts and won waves of warm applause. Following a banner stating “The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” women Falun Gong practitioners dressed as celestial maidens performed graceful dances to beautiful music. Their heavenly costumes, bright umbrellas and gentle movements were fascinating. The float was decorated with large lotus flowers, lanterns printed with “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” and a “Zhuan Falun” book model. Falun Gong practitioners in yellow T-shirts demonstrated their exercises on the float.
When passing the stage at the end of the parade, the waist drum troupe performed “Falun Dafa Is Great” while the celestial maiden dance troupe performed “Celebrate Dafa Day.” The spectators were fascinated and took pictures of this wonderful performance.
