(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in three cities or counties in three provinces. In this report, one practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least four practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Chaoyang, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Huazhen and His Wife Arrested
Police officers broke in Mr. Li Huazhen's home in Xiaomajiazi, Kezuo County, and arrested him and his wife on December 22, 2010.
2. [Suining, Sichuan Province] Ms. Peng Guanghua and Ms. Zhang Suzhen Arrested
Ms. Peng Guanghua, 60, and Ms. Zhang Suzhen, 58, live near Beizhuanpan in Suining. They were arrested on February 4, 2011, when they talked with people about Falun Gong near Guangde Temple. They are being detained at the Beigu Shelter Center.
3. [Longhua County, Hebei Province] Ms. He Yaping Persecuted for Years
Since the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Ms. He Yaping from Longhua County has been detained three times, as well as being harassed, monitored, and having to live under surveillance. The authorities also ransacked her home three times.
Three police officers took Ms. He to the police department in the evening of July 21, 1999. Ms. He was held there until her sister signed a document of “Release for Further Interrogation” around midnight.
At midnight on June 14, 2001, many police officers suddenly broke in Ms. He's home. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and audio CDs they found in her possession. Ms. He was taken to Longhua County's Detention Center and held for 21 days.
In 2005, the captain of the Domestic Security Division, Sun Hongwen, summoned Ms. He to the police department, then took her to a detention center where she was held for 15 days.
On April 28, 2008, Ms. He went to visit a fellow practitioner, but was reported to the police by the practitioner's family, who were unaware of the truth of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. The police took Ms. He to a detention center and ransacked her home. They confiscated a computer, Falun Dafa books, the portrait of the founder of Falun Dafa, a camera, and more. Ms. He's family was forced to pay 15,000 yuan. Ms. He was released 21 days later.
