(Clearwisdom.net) Around 8 a.m. on October 20, 2011, Ms. Gan Qiaoying was arrested at her residential subdivision by Yan Heping, Yu Jinhua, Zhang Linsong, and She Song, who were given orders by Ning Weiming, the director of Xinhuang County People's Hospital in Xihuang County, Hunan Province. They pushed Ms. Gan into a waiting car and drove her to the 610 Office in Huaihua City, Hunan Province.
Because she would not give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Ms. Gan was persecuted in a forced labor camp twice and detained in a brainwashing center three times by the Xinhuang County 610 Office and CCP personnel in the People's Hospital. Twenty thousand yuan of her pension was also held. Her husband divorced her because he couldn't bear the pressure from the CCP. Her son was harassed and threatened many times by the 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division.
Around 5 p.m. on April 28, 2007, Yao Benxin, the Domestic Security Division staff, and police in Xinghuang County, Huaihua City, together with Domestic Security Division police Cao, Yang Fang (female), Yao Weilong from Law Enforcement Section, and Wu Yuanhua from the People’s Hospital, went to Ms. Gan's home. Wu Yuanhua tried to make Ms. Gan open the door. Not succeeding, he, Yao Benxin, and other three others broke into the residence, arrested Ms. Gan, and detained her at the detention center. Police officers Yao Benxin tried to make Ms. Gan sign a fabricated arrest warrant. When she adamantly refused, Yao Benxin and another five to six police officers brutally beat her feet and face and forcibly pressed her fingers for fingerprinting. On July 30, the 610 Office in Xinghuang County, the Domestic Security Division, and the Procuratorate brought charges against her to the justice department, which conducted a kangaroo court and sentenced Ms. Gan to three years in prison.
Another practitioner was also harassed. Around 10 a.m. on October 20, 2011, the CCP staff in the Xinhuang County Civil Affairs Bureau, including Peng Jiping, who has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners many times before; Yang Hongmei; Yang, the new deputy director; and a male in his 20s, broke into Ms. Liu Yuhong's residence intending to seize her and take her to the Huaihua City's 610 Office brainwashing center. But they met with resistance and could not carry out their plan. Ms. Liu's husband is disabled and confined to a wheelchair and can’t live without his wife’s care.
