(Clearwisdom.net) In the morning of April 23, Falun Gong practitioners from the Kansai region rallied outside the Chinese Consulate in Osaka to mark the eleventh anniversary of the April 25 Appeal and protest the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Many truth-clarifying banners were displayed. Several practitioners demonstrated the exercises while others talked to passersby to explain the reason for the gathering.

At the rally, a statement on the April 25 Appeal was read. After April 25, 1999, practitioners were pushed to center stage. In the past 11 years, practitioners have tirelessly explained the truth about Falun Gong, and their brave deeds have won support from all over the world. On March 16, 2010, the US Congress passed Resolution 605 to call for an end to the persecution.
Practitioner Zhang spoke about how her sister was being persecuted in China. Two other practitioners shared how the consulate refused to renew their passports. A Japanese practitioner told the audience how the consulate rejected her application for a Chinese visa.
