(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in nine counties and cities in six provinces. In this report, seven practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. You Ling Still Illegally Detained
In June 2009, Ms. You from Farm No. 597 at Baoqing County was reported by representatives for giving out truth clarification DVDs. Subsequently, she was illegally arrested, and held by local 610 Office officials at the Guanju Detention Center in Hongxinglong.

3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Recently Taken Into Custody
Practitioners arrested on January 27, 2010 include: Mr. Cao Jianxin, Ms. Wang Yinghua, Ms. Li Minzhi, Mr. Li Zhongchen, Mr. Jiang Dawei, Mr. Zhao Zhibao, Mr. Jia Jingwen, Ms. Dong Ying, Ms. Fu Yan, Ms. Cui Yulan, Ms. Peng Ying and Ms. Liang Li. Practitioners arrested on the morning of January 29 include: Ms. Hua Yuru, Ms. Ma Lan and Mr. Gong Yubo.

4. [Tianjin City] Ms. Jia Wenguang Illegally Detained
On the afternoon of January 14, 2010, Ms. Jia, a 36-year-old from Hebei District of Tianjin City was explaining the facts about Falun Gong near the Jingjiangqiao area when she was illegally arrested by officers from the Dajianglu Police Station of Hebei District. Ms. Jia was taken to the Hebei Sub-bureau Detention Center, where she is currently being detained.
5. [Tianjin City] Ms. Gong Wenyu Arrested
Ms. Gong Wenyu from Hexi District was arrested at approximately 9 a.m. on January 29, near the Tianjin TV tower.
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Ping Imprisoned for Four Months
Shandong Chinese Medicine College employee Ms. Sun, a 56-year-old, was illegally arrested on October 8, 2009, and held at the Zhonggong Detention Center of Jinan City. Currently, Ms. Sun is in poor physical condition.
7. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Hong Illegally Arrested
At approximately 6 p.m. on January 24, 2010, Ms. Fu of Haigang District, Qinhuangdao was arrested by officers from Nandaihe Police Station while explaining the facts about Falun Gong in the Xingfulin development in Nandaihe, Funing County. Ms. Fu's home was subsequently ransacked. She is currently being held at the Funing County Detention Center.
8. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xuemin Taken to Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp
On the evening of January 18, 2010, Ms. Zhang from the Petroleum Search Equipment Factory of Xushui County, a 40-year-old, was arrested by policemen while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Xushui County of Baoding City. Additionally, her home was ransacked. Ms. Zhang was taken to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.
9. [Zhengding County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Jinping Illegally Arrested Again
In August 2009, Ms. Yang from Zhengding County returned home from prison. In January 2010, she was arrested again by officers from the Zhengding County Police Station.
10. [Tang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Sun Lingru Arrested
At approximately 8:00 p.m. on January 21, 2010, 60-year-old Ms. Sun from Wenjiazhuang Village of Beiluo Township, Tang County was arrested by officers from the Beiluo Township Police Department, after she was reported by representatives for explaining the facts about Falun Gong to local citizens. Ms. Sun is currently being held at the Tang County Detention Center. At approximately 1 a.m. that same night, three officers from the Beiluo Township Police Station broke into her home, then confiscated her Dafa books, Minghui Weekly and truth clarification materials.

11. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Ni Fengzhen Illegally Arrested by Officers from Jianping Police Station, January 29, 2010
12. [Gangu County, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhang Zenghu and Ms. Mao Xiulan Illegally Arrested
On the afternoon of January 28, 2010, officer Gou Binya and additional personnel from the Domestic Security Division of Gangu County Police Department of Tianshui City broke into Mr. Zhang and Ms. Mao's (a married couple) home at Daishi Village of Gangu County. Officials confiscated their computer, printer, engraving machine, DVDs, Dafa books, truth clarification materials and personal belongings. Subsequently, they arrested Mr. Zhang and Ms. Mao.

13. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Li Dan Arrested, Taken to Hu City Women's Prison
Ms. Li from the Yuanbaoshan District of Chigeng was illegally sentenced to seven years in prison by the Yuanbaoshan District Court, then taken to the Hu City No. 1 Women's Prison in Inner Mongolia.
14. [Chongqing City] Additional Information on the Persecution of Mr. Chen Fu from Xinan University
Mr. Chen, a graduate student from Xi'nan University in Chongqing City, was illegally sentenced to four years in prison, and is currently being held at the No. 17 Ward of Yongchuan Prison. Prison guards directly instructed inmate Li Chuan to torture Mr. Chen.
