(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Peng Donglian of Li County, Changde, Hunan Province died at the Li County Detention Center just eleven days after her arrest.

Ms. Peng, 58, was a retired accountant from the Li County Farming Machinery Company.
Police took Ms. Peng into custody at her home without a warrant on November 9, 2010. This was her third arrest since the Chinese Communist Party began the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in 1999. She was held at the Li County Detention Center and her family was denied visitation.
Nine days later, on November 18, her family received notification of the illegal arrest. Two days later, on November 20, police informed the family that Ms. Peng had died in the afternoon.
Her family rushed to the detention center and saw her body. There were blue and purple scars on the soles of her feet. Her body was warm when they touched her. Police told them that she died due to a heart attack. However, she did not have any history of heart disease and she was in good health when she was arrested.
That day, four hundred officers surrounded the detention center and the funeral home in the county.
At 1:00 a.m. on November 26, her body was cremated under police orders.
According to an insider, Ms. Peng was tortured during her detention. Autopsy results showed that her heart was ruptured, and lots of blood filled her abdominal cavity.
