(Clearwisdom.net) There are four practitioners in our study group, of which I am the eldest. For a long time, for three days a week, we have been studying the Fa)) together and going out to tell people the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. We ride our bikes when we go out to {{clarify the truth, and talk to anyone we see, especially those who are in big trucks and have traveled a long distance. Most people would accept our words and remind us to be careful not to be caught by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
One time, we came across many people digging a large trench to make a canal. We approached them and gave them various truth-clarification materials, and told them about quitting the CCP. Then we heard someone from the top of the trench yelling, "What are you doing? Don't give them everything. Save some for us!" It was difficult to get to the top of the trench to deliver the materials. Some of the workers lowered their shovels so that we could put the materials on them, but there was no way for them to stay there. Then someone threw a bag and said, "Put the materials in the bag and throw it up. I will spread them to everyone for you." I am still thrilled when I think back to that day.
We met many people who did not know the truth about the persecution. Some of them immediately refused to talk to us, some did not believe in what we or the CCP said, some of them wanted to stay neutral and neither were supportive or against Falun Gong, and some even asked us for money before they would take our materials. I did not know what to say to those who asked me for money, and so I walked away. I wasn't happy. When I studied the Fa that day, I found my answer. The next time I met such people, I knew what to say to them when they asked for money, and some of them even quit the CCP afterwards.
After a while, fellow practitioners started to ask how we clarified the truth. When we shared our experience with them, some of them asked to come with us when we went out to talk to people about the persecution. Eventually, they knew what to do and were able to work on this independently. Some even started to share their experience with others. This happened many times. Now many practitioners in our area are able to go out and tell people the truth about the persecution.
Fellow practitioners are like mirrors for us to look inward. Sometimes we have conflicts in the process of truth clarification. However, we were all able to look inward and remember what Teacher said, "For a cultivator, looking within is a magical tool." ("Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference")
Teacher has always stressed the importance of Fa study. It is our belief that Fa study is the foundation of being able to clarify the truth about Falun Gong well.
