(Clearwisdom.net) On July 4, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners once again participated in Winslow's 4th of July Parade which is the largest celebration of its kind in Maine, with over 40,000 spectators. The practitioners' presentation received high marks.
The Falun Gong procession included a decorated float, a fan dance troupe and a Tang drum group. The practitioners also had a graceful exercise demonstration on the float. The vibrant drumbeats and the practitioners' peaceful demeanor were met with resounding applause. The practitioners who distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying fliers could hardly meet the requests from spectators, and over 4,000 fliers were distributed during the parade.
