1. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Yuhe Continues to be Brutally Tortured in Jilin Prison
Mr. Liu Yuhe was sentenced to 8 years in prison because he persisted in practicing Falun Gong. He has been detained in the Fifth Division of Jilin Prison. He has been tortured many times in the "Strict Monitoring Team". He was disabled by tortures such as "stretching" and the "big hang up". Guards ordered inmates to gang up on him and beat him many times. Recently, Mr. Liu was put under "strict monitoring" again for an extended period.

Between June 11 and 12, 2009, the Luquan police arrested Ms. Zhang Yun and Ms. Qiu Yanshuang. They are now detained in the Luquan Detention Center.

8. [Boxing County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xian Arrested
On the morning of June 15, 2009, Ms. Li Xian from Luyi Town, Boxing County was reported to police while she was distributing fliers about Falun Gong in a market. She was then arrested and her home was searched. Now her whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Ma Zhenyu and Other Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
The Nanjing police arrested Mr. Ma Zhenyu, Ms. Zhang Yuhua, Mr. Xia Jianguo, Ms. Sun Wenlan, Ms. Fan Huaizhen, and other practitioners.
Mr. Ma Zhenyu is a former senior engineer at the Nanjing Electronic Radar Institute. He was in charge of the development of a large radar. In 2000, Mr. Ma was detained and sentenced to seven years in prison. He was also expelled from the institute. He was detained in the Suzhou Prison for seven years.
Ms. Zhang Yuhua was an associate professor at Nanjing Normal University. In 2001, she was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. In 2003, she was sentenced to four years in prison. She was detained in the Nanjing Women's Prison for four years. Ms. Zhang was also expelled from the university.
Currently, Mr. Ma Zhenyu and Ms. Zhang Yuhua are being detained in the brainwashing center of the Gulou District 610 Office. Ms. Fan Huaizhen, Ms. Sun Wenlan and Mr. Xia Jianguo are being detained in the Jiangning County 610 Office Brainwashing Center.
12. [Changyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xia Zhenlan Arrested
On June 15, 2009, police from the Beimeng Police Station, Changyi City went to search the home of Ms. Xia Zhenlan in Xitun Village. The police took her away to the Beimeng Police Station and tried to force her to write a so-called "guarantee letter". She refused to write it. Then the police took her son to the police station and tried to force her son to write it for her. Finally, Ms. Xia Zhenlan managed to walk away with righteous thoughts.
13. [Tengzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Yan and Ms. Sun Aidi Detained in the Tengzhou Detention Center
On the afternoon of June 11, 2009, Ms. Yan Yan and Ms. Sun Aidi went to Nanshahe Town, Tengzhou City to distribute fliers and explain the facts about Falun Gong. They were reported to the police and taken away by the Tengzhou 610 Office. Afterwards, personnel from the 610 Office went to search Ms. Yan's home and took away a computer, a printer and other property. Currently, the two practitioners are detained in the Tengzhou Detention Center.
14. [Shandong Province] Mr. Li Xuerong Arrested
On June 15, 2009, Mr. Li Xuerong of the Shengbei Community of the Shengli Oil Field was taken to the Jishu Brainwashing Center by a group of policemen including Dong Ning. The police also took away property from his home.

16. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhang Naixi Sent to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center in Guangzhou City
On May 29, 2009, Mr. Zhang Naixi was arrested and detained in the Yangjiang Detention Center. On June 2, 2009, police searched his home and took away some Dafa cards and three DVDs of the New Tang Dynasty Program. Mr. Zhang's family members were not allowed to visit him in detention.
On June 12, 2009, the police asked Mr. Zhang Naixi to sign a letter guaranteeing that he would not practice Falun Dafa. He refused to sign. Later on, he was sent to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center in Guangzhou City.
17. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xian Chunwei Arrested
On June 5, 2009, Mr. Xian Chunwei was arrested when he went to the local police station to get his identification card. Now his whereabouts are unknown.
18. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Luo Meiling Detained in the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp for Extended Term
On June 12, 2008, Ms. Luo Meiling was arrested. On June 28, 2009, she was sent to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term. On June 11, 2009, the term should have ended and her family went to pick her up. However, the camp refused to release Ms. Luo, saying she had not "transformed".

At 1:30 am on October 18, 2008, Mr. Gao Hengfeng of the Xinfa Heat and Electric Group in Chiping County, was taken away from his office by the head of the Chiping National Security Team and four policemen from the Xuying Township Police Station, Dongchangfu Police Department in Liaocheng. Mr. Gao was detained in the Liaocheng Detention Center for 37 days.
A month later, Mr. Gao Hengfeng was sent to the Shandong Province Second Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term. Currently, he is being detained in the Seventh Division.
21. [Changli County, Shandong Province] Information about the Persecution of Ms. Qi Liping
Ms. Qi Liping lives in Peigezhuang First Village, Changli County. On the night of May 13, 2009, she was taken to the Xinji Police Station by Li Delong from the united guard team and officers from the Xinji Police Station who were waiting outside her house. The police handcuffed her to a heating pipe and did not allow her to sleep. They also shined a strong flashlight into her eyes. Ms. Qi's home was also searched. The police took away a Dafa book. Later on, Ms. Qi was sent to the Changli County Police Department and was detained there for two weeks. She has now returned home with righteous thoughts.
22. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jia Xiuhua Arrested
On the morning of June 15, 2009, Ms. Jia Xiuhua was arrested by the national security team of the Jianping Police Department while she was explaining facts about Falun Gong. She is now detained in the Jianping Second Detention Center.
23. [Nan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Aizhen Arrested
On the morning of June 12, 2009, Ms. Liu Aizhen was reported to police while she was explaining facts about Falun Gong. She was taken away by police from the Maocao Street Police Station in Nan County. The police also took away about 500 yuan cash she was carrying. She is now detained in the Nan County First Detention Center.
In 2000, Ms. Liu Aizhen was detained in the Nan County Second Detention Center for 18 months because she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. At the end of 2002, she was arrested again by the Nan County Police Department because she clarified facts about Falun Gong to people. Later on Ms. Liu was sent to the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province for one year. Because she did not give up her cultivation, she was brutally tortured. In the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp, she was force-fed after she went on a protest hunger strike. Several of her teeth were broken during the brutal forced-feeding. Later on, she was injected with an unknown drug. As a result, her vision was blurry and she had difficulty breathing. Ms. Liu was tortured until she was very thin and weak and she became almost blind.

24. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Guilan Detained in the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City.
At 7:30 a.m. on June 15, 2009, Chief of the Xinhua Police Station in Jianghan District, Li Ming from the Jianghan Police Department and local police officers went to search the home of Ms. Chen Guilan. They arrested her and also took away her computer and other personal property. Currently, Ms. Chen is being detained in the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City.
25. [Tianjin City] Ms. Han Shujuan Arrested
Ms. Han Shujuan, 57 years old, lives in Wanxin Village, Hedong District, Tianjin City. On June 12, 2009, she was reported to police while she was explaining facts about Falun Gong and distributing Falun Gong fliers in Taiyangcheng Community in Hedong District. She was taken away by local police. Ms. Han is now detained in the Hedong District Detention Center.
26. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Additional Information about the Persecution of Ms. Zhu Hong
On May 24, 2009, 49-year-old Ms. Zhu Hong was arrested by the Fangcao Street Police Station in Chengdu City because she explained facts about Falun Gong to people. Her home was searched. The police took away fliers about Falun Gong and Dafa books. Afterwards, Ms. Zhu was secretly sent to the Jinhua Brainwashing Center in Wuhou District, Chengdu City.

Mr. Li Feng is being detained in the Shijiazhuang Fourth Prison (also known as the Beijiao Prison of Shijiazhuang). Currently, he is on the verge of death. However, the prison refuses to release Mr. Li Feng for medical treatment.

29. [Wuchang City, Hubei Province] The Yangyuan Brainwashing Center Added Toxins to Practitioners' Meals
In the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center, the guards brutally persecute Falun Dafa practitioners by handcuffing and beating them, injecting them with toxic drugs, subjecting them to brainwashing, sleep deprivation, and other abuse. The perpetrators also added toxins into meals given to Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners gradually developed a number of adverse symptoms, including aching feet, difficulty walking, falling easily, and loss of teeth.
In the middle of May 2005, Ms. Xu Jiamei was sent to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center. During her detention, Chen Qiyi, party secretary of the center, added some drugs into her meals. In August 2008, Ms. Xu was released home. She often fell down at home, her teeth were loose and she could not eat. She was not as clearheaded as before. Unable to fully recover, on April 25, 2009, Ms. Xu passed away at the age of 77.

At the end of May 2009, Ms. Zeng Honglei of the Lechang Agriculture Bureau was arrested by police from the Lechang 610 Office. She was sent to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Sanshui District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

At 9:00 a.m. on June 13, 2009, Mr. Wen Hongjun was reported to police when he was explaining facts about Falun Gong in Xiaowufen Village, Mingyi Township, Huanan County. He was arrested by officers from the Mingyi Township Police Station. Mr. Wen is detained in the Huanan County Detention Center.

On June 11, 2009, Mr. Li Dongli was arrested at the Harbin Train Station. He is detained in the Railroad Detention Center. His family members were also arrested when they went to ask for his release.
35. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Lian Yanling and Two Other Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
Around October 10, 2008, a group of policemen from Qianyang County, Baoji City suddenly rushed to Chenjia Village, Weibin District to arrest Ms. Lian Yanling and her mother, as well as another female Falun Dafa practitioner. It was said that they were sent to Qianyang County for detention.
At the same time, the police went to search the home of a practitioner whose last name is Chen. Now that practitioner is homeless and destitute in order to avoid being arrested at home.
