1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Over 200 Practitioners Held at Jilin Province Women's Province
The number of practitioners held at the Jilin Province Women's Prison has increased from around 100 to over 200 people over the past month. The practitioners were brought in from all across the province. They are being held at the "Education Ward." Practitioners have been prohibited from talking to each other. Each is being monitored by personal cangues, who have been convicted on criminal charges. Practitioners are forced to sit on small stools beginning at 5:00 a.m. every morning, and they have to sit like this until 10:00 p.m. Practitioners who have just arrived are ordered to sign the "five statements" (similar to the three statements) renouncing Falun Gong. Otherwise they will face forced transformation.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Ying Faces Trial
Mr. Liu Ying was arrested in November 2009. He was formerly an employee of the Geographical Machinery Factory in Hushitai Town, Shenbei New District in Shenyang City. He lives in Shenyang City. Around November 10, he was arrested by officers from the Dadong Police Station while using his cellular phone to tell others about the persecution. Mr. Liu is being held at the Dadong District Detention Center. He faces trial at the end of November. His family has hired an attorney.
3. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Additional Information on the Death of Mr. Lu Guanglin by Torture in Panjin Prison
Four inmates, including Liu Bing and Wang Menglong, were assigned by guards of the Panjin Prison in Liaoning Province to torture Mr. Lu Guanglin. They kept Mr. Liu hungry and cold during the winter. They poured cold water onto his bed. They also poured boiling water on his body and claimed that it was by accident. When Mr. Lu died, there were over 30 injuries on his body. Gao Junman, a prison physician, told the inmates that the more inmates who took responsibility, the less his death would matter to any of them. When other practitioners inquired into this death by tortue case, a prison physician with the last name Zou denied that any of the cases had taken place. Mr. Pan Wei lives in Liangjiang Town, Antu County, Jilin Province. On July 9, he managed to escape when the police searched his home and were trying to arrest him. He remained out of town with nowhere to live. On October 31, officers from the Wuyi Police Department in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province arrested him. On November 15, he was taken into custody at the Antu County Police Department.

On the evening of November 19, 2009, Ms. Ding Yunhua, Ms. Zou Jixiu and Ms. Luan Zhujun from the Yingchun area in Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province went to the nearby No. 852 Farm to distribute truth clarification materials. Officers from the No. 852 Farm Police Department who arrived in police vehicles arrested the three practitioners. The practitioners have remained in custody at the police department. On November 20, officials from the Hongxinglong Agriculture Administration arrived at the police department and participated in the persecution.

On November 20, 2009, the Clearwisdom.net website posted a report "Brutal Torture Inside Jinan Women's Detention Center" (see http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2009/11/20/112493.html). It was reported that Ms. Bi Jianhong from Yantai City was persecuted in the Shandong Province Women's Prison. Ms. Bi was held in a segregated room several times. She could not walk due to the brutal beatings. She lost her eyesight as a result of inhuman torture. She held a hunger strike, but she was later force-fed saltwater in a prison hospital. After the force-feeding, her family received a notice about her critical condition from the prison hospital. It was reported that she had been taken home by her family.

Ms. Zhang Xiuhong is a villager in Zhangjiabu Village in the Bukou Port area in Wendeng City, Shandong Province. On the evening of November 9, 2009, officers from the Bianfan Police Station in the Bukou area arrested her. She is being held at the Wendeng City Detention Center.

On the morning of September 8, 2009, police officers from Tangfeng Township in Shenzhou City, Hebei Province arrived at Dongbutuan Village. Village official Ge Yingqiu accompanied the officer to Ms. Ge Qingtuo's home. They demanded the family's residential book and identification cards on the grounds of guaranteeing security on National Day. That afternoon, the police showed up again, this time in two police vehicles. Half a dozen police officers searched Ms. Ge's home. They confiscated Falun Dafa books.

On the evening of September 26, 2009, Ms. Li Xia and Ms. Song Hong in Jieshou City, Anhui Province were spotted by Shi, political director of the Xinhua Police Station, while distributing brochures in the family quarters near an elementary school. The two practitioners have been sentenced to one year of forced labor.
12. [Nanzhao County, Henan Province] Ms. Li Shilan, Near 70 Years Old, Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor by County Court
Ms. Li Shilan, nearly 70 years old, lives in Xiaodian Township, Nanzhao County, Henan Province. In May 2008, she went to study the Fa with another fellow practitioner. On May 23, she was arrested by police officers who were staked out to monitor practitioners. The Nanzhao County Court held a secret trial where Ms. Li was unlawfully sentenced to three years of forced labor. On October 22, 2009, she was forcibly taken to the Xinxiang Forced Labor Camp in Henan Province.

16. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zeng Shufen Forced to Become Homeless
Ms. Zeng Shufen allowed other practitioners to live in her home in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province. As a result, she has been forced to leave town and become homeless. The authorities have also persecuted her family. Members of the Guanghan City 610 Office threatened her son, Mr. Song Fei. Ms. Zeng's husband Mr. Song (in his sixties) and their daughter Ms. Song Ying worked at the Environment Protection Department. Officials of the department took orders from the authorities and fired Mr. Song and Ms. Song. The police also threatened Ms. Zeng's family, saying that if they did not turn her in, a warrant would be issued to capture her.
