(Clearwisdom.net) Recently I read Master's "Fa Teaching Given at the Fa Conference Marking the Tenth Anniversary of the Minghui Website's Founding". Master talked many times about the importance of running Minghui Website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) well. When I read about the laborious effort of the fellow practitioners who directly run the website, I also wanted to put what I have seen and experienced in writing.
Master said,
"At the very least, you have all been able to see the state of students in China and abroad and the exchange of information that takes place, and from that information you know about the overall situation of things, what the state of Dafa disciples' cultivation overall is like, and the specifics of the evil's persecution of Dafa disciples; you have also come to know how Dafa disciples have resisted the persecution. Indeed, however the state of Dafa disciples' cultivation may be, there will be some who have traveled the path well and some who have traveled it poorly. But whatever the case, Minghui has really achieved a downright outstanding effect with its timely reporting. This makes Minghui something outstanding, and the students who are involved are extraordinary." When I read this paragraph of the teaching, tears ran down my face - did I do my best for the website in the past ten years? The website is not only the responsibility of some individual practitioners, it is also the responsibility of all practitioners; we are one body.
Running our website well is what every fellow practitioner wants and our practitioners thus all have significant responsibilities. Fellow practitioners often said that they felt the pressure of the environment and some felt that they had difficulties to give a full play of their capabilities and had difficulties to coordinate. My understanding is that, because we are a one body, what concerns one fellow practitioner concerns every practitioner. All of our fellow practitioners can give a full play of their capabilities and supernormal power in their own environment, to strengthen our website and to make our website purer and more righteous with righteous thoughts. Being responsible for the website is being responsible for oneself.
I am a practitioner that is homeless and destitute because of the persecution. In the past several years the work in the truth materials site has been very busy and the environment was special, we had few chances to share with fellow practitioners face-to-face. I often felt the pressure of the environment. Reading Minghui Weekly, I walked through this special period of time. When I read articles about fellow practitioners' righteous thoughts and deeds, I felt bright in my mind. Being able to keep in touch with the Minghui website I felt that I was able to keep in touch with fellow practitioners and with our whole body; I did not feel like a lonely particle.
The practitioner I was working with in the materials site felt that we were too isolated. I shared with her that, as long as we studied the Fa well with a peaceful mind and as long as we pay attention to fellow practitioners experience sharing articles, we would feel that we were together with fellow practitioners and with our whole body, and we wouldn't feel that we were isolated. In fact, we would feel that the environment was going to improve. Master said, "I think Minghui's content is precious material collected in the course of Dafa disciples' cultivation." I remember a person said, "Before the persecution of Falun Gong, the personal computer was not widely used. After the persecution started, computer use spread quickly. After their Master's articles were published, within three to five minutes the whole world knew."
I am a 60 year-old practitioner and I did not go to school. After I started practicing Falun Gong Master gave me wisdom and helped me break through the difficulties of not being able to read. The words in Dafa books and in the articles on Minghui website are not difficult for me to read even though I read slowly. All the devices used for validating Dafa, including installing computer software, under Master's strengthening, I usually did by myself. When I tried to learn these skills I was also hindered by my notions. But I felt quite gratified after I broke through these difficulties.
My cultivation level is limited and if I have any mistakes, please correct me.
