(Clearwisdom.net) (correspondent in Jilin Province) Mr. Zhu Jingyun from Yongji County, Jilin Province began practicing Falun Gong in 2005, benefiting physically and mentally from the practice. On September 15, his home and appliance store were ransacked, his daughter was arrested and taken to a forced labor camp.
Between 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. on October 8, 2009, deputy director Fan Shoujun, police officers Yuan Yuepeng, Liu Guojun, Ma Wenyou, the driver and three other police officers from Chaluhe Public Security Branch surrounded Mr. Zhu Jingyun's family home. Mr. Zhu tried to escape when he saw this group of police officers, but was captured in a rice field and brought back to his home. Mr. Zhu Jingyun shouted "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Faith is not a crime." However, his words resulted in a beating by the officers. Then, they grabbed his hair, and dragged him into the police car.
Mr. Zhu's wife and his 90 year-old blind father attempted to stop this crime, but both were savagely beaten. Even the neighbors said angrily, "How can the police beat people at will? What kind of crime have they committed?" The policemen did not stop until they heard this condemnation.
Fan Shoujun and Yuan Yuepeng grabbed Mr. Zhu's hair, and continued to punch and kick him after they dragged him into the police car. Mr. Zhu was held in custody at the Chaluhe Public Security Branch, where he was brutally beaten and subjected to electric shock treatment until he fell unconscious, then was taken to the No. 2 hospital in the Chaluhe area. Later, officials attempted to place Mr. Zhu into custody of the Yongji County Detention Center, but were rejected due to Mr. Zhu's poor condition. Police officers from the Chaluhe Public Security Branch then force-fed Mr. Zhu with mustard oil, so Mr. Zhu was taken to the County Hospital again.
In the hospital, Mr. Zhu was struck by an official claiming to be "director Liu". After Mr. Zhu fell unconscious, officials called his family in order to avoid responsibility, asking them to take him back home. When they arrived at the hospital, the family members discovered that Mr. Zhu suffered from urinary incontinence. Police officers asked his family, "Has Zhu Jingyun had any illness?" The family replied, "He was in excellent health, he was the mainstay of our family." The police officers were speechless. Mr. Zhu was taken back home on the evening of October 9, 2009.
