(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of August 2, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners came to Mynttorget Square to raise awareness of the 9-year long persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Square is next to the Stockholm Palace, and practitioners have been visiting this tourist site frequently in the past several years. The practitioners displayed a banner which read "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong," and set up a truth-clarifying photo display to let tourists from all over the world know about the atrocities happening in China.

While drizzling rain hastened people's steps, many still slowed down to look when they passed by the practitioners' activity site. Some read the Falun Gong truth-clarifying posters attentively, and some watched practitioners meditating in rain.
A couple viewed all the posters attentively despite the rain. While reading, they shook their heads many times, as they were outraged by the CCP's atrocities. Meanwhile, they were also touched by the peaceful practitioners who were demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises in rain. "What a sharp contrast of good and evil!" They signed their names on a petition form which called for an end to the persecution.
Practitioner Ove lives in a town north of Gothenburg. It took him more than 4 hours by train to get here. Despite the long travel, he rigorously distributed fliers to passersby and told many people about what is happening in China.
When someone asked him whether this is worth the time he spent, he replied seriously: "This is a very important thing to do! The whole world welcomes Falun Gong except that the CCP persecutes the practice. Most recently, the CCP has used the Olympic Games as an excuse to escalate the persecution of Falun Gong, violating its promise to the International Olympic Committee to improve human rights. I am here to let more people know about the evil nature of the CCP. I will not only distribute fliers and tell people about the persecution here, I will also take some truth-clarifying materials back home and distribute them in my neighborhood."
"Rain cannot stop people from learning the truth, not to mention practitioners' truth-clarifying efforts. As long as the persecution continues, we will continue to clarify the truth," the practitioners at the Square said.
