(Clearwisdom.net) After I finished reading articles from the Fourth Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Practitioners in China, especially "Believing in Master and the Fa, We Can Surmount All Ordeals," which I read several times, tears filled my eyes and spilled down my cheeks. Compared with these practitioners, I was lagging far behind. It also showed that I needed to catch up and upgrade myself.
When I heard about the incident of tapping into local cable television connections and airing a video that explained the truth about Falun Gong, I could only admire those fellow practitioners because I thought that it was something beyond my abilities, so I couldn't help out. Even though I sent righteous thoughts for a while at that time, overall, I appeared to be rather numb. If I could have studied the Fa a little bit more diligently and enlightened to what Teacher said in "Look at Things with Righteous Thoughts," I could have realized that it was not an issue of not allowing the old forces to persecute fellow practitioners, but an issue of totally negating the arrangements by the old forces.
"Right now, the Dafa disciples of Mainland China using television to let people know the truth is exposing the evil's persecution, is saving the sentient beings whose minds have been poisoned by the evil's deceit, and is a magnificent act of mercy."
Why do we need to tap into television broadcasts? Now think about it: if the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had not committed such serious crimes, had not deceived and poisoned the minds of the Chinese people, and had not blocked news broadcasts, would anyone have needed to tap into the television broadcasts? Why has the CCP consistently blocked the truth about Falun Dafa, which can be disseminated freely in the rest of the world? Didn't the CCP claim that it wanted to "meet international standards?" Isn't freedom of speech and freedom of belief clearly stipulated in the Chinese Constitution? If we could hear such voices around the world, the situation in China would be totally different. My fellow practitioners in China would not feel alone and and not feel that they are bearing such great pressure all by themselves. It would also reduce the persecution that the practitioners in China have been enduring.
Teacher said,
"What's important for cultivators is righteous thoughts. When you have strong righteous thoughts, you are able to withstand anything and do anything. That's because you are a cultivator: someone who is on a divine path and who is not controlled by the factors of ordinary people or low-level principles. " ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles")
Teacher also said,
"I have removed the names of Dafa disciples from Hell's registry. I had their names removed from Hell. So your names are not there. In other words, you are not in any way beings of the Three Realms, and you are no longer ordinary persons. That is why when your righteous thoughts are strong you can resolve any problem." ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles")
In our cultivation, if we can clearly realize that part of us has already reached consummation, we will have a totally different situation. Teacher asked us to send forth righteous thoughts and maintain righteous thoughts and righteous action. I enlightened that Teacher actually asked us to upgrade our xinxing and be fully aware of this and fully utilize our great abilities when we do things. This is far beyond self-protection. If we could enlighten to it and maintain our righteous thoughts and righteous actions, could the evil forces persecute us any more?
To put it in perspective, when we send forth righteous thoughts on normal days and when facing the danger of persecution in particular, we can protect ourselves. Moreover, don't we have the righteous Gods who safeguard the Fa as well as the protection of Teacher's law bodies? Aren't the human beings who were controlled by those who persecuted practitioners and the evil specters the weakest once those controlling demons were eliminated ? Every single practitioner has great abilities. During our cultivation we should not fight back when punched or insulted. However, warding off someone's attack or stopping someone from doing bad things are correct behavior, so that practitioners not have to bear the persecution. Originally it was the opinion that, among practitioners persecuted, a large number of them were elderly or women, who are considered by everyday people to be "weak." Actually, this was not true. Isn't it benevolence when one tries to stop others from committing crimes? As a practitioner we also can say, "Stop the persecution." Even this ordinary sentence will sound like thunder to the evil forces.
I have not experienced anything major but have only come across some minor tests. I passed all these tests by sending forth righteous thoughts. I still lag far behind my fellow practitioners. Here, I don't want to praise them nor create tribulations for them. Tears are the manifestation of qing--sentimentality. There are even practitioners who have been arrested and persecuted, some have even lost their lives. The key to writing the article is to share with fellow practitioners from the Fa principles so that we can upgrade together.
