(Clearwisdom.net) On June 24, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners participated in an Independence Day parade in Fishers, a small town in Indiana. Participation in parades is a good opportunity for practitioners to make direct contact with people, explain the facts of the persecution, and spread the grace of Falun Dafa.

At the forefront of the procession were large banners that read, "Falun Dafa" and "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." A float followed the banners. In the center of the float was a large scale model of the book Zhuan Falun. Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises on the float, while the waist drum team consisting of 12 practitioners played at the end. The parade route was long, and there were many spectators lining the streets. Whenever the practitioners appeared, the spectators gave them warm applause. Practitioners distributed more than one thousand copies of truth-clarification materials.
On July 4, the practitioners participated in an Independence Day parade in Carmel City for the fourth year in a row. The route for this parade was even longer and there were more spectators. The waist drum team played vigorously. When the practitioners passed by, the spectators applauded with enthusiasm and shouted, "Wonderful!"
